About CMAT 2021
National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for CMAT registration till January 30, 2021. Candidates can pay the CMAT application form fee till January 31, 2021. CMAT correction window opens from February 01 to February 02, 2021. CMAT registration started on December 23, 2020 in online mode. Candidates could earlier apply for CMAT 2021 exam till January 22, 2021. CMAT exam dates and brochure has been released by NTA. CMAT exam date 2021 is February 22 & 27, 2021 and will be conducted in a computer-based mode in two shifts across 153 cities. Candidates can fill the CMAT registration form in online mode only. Before going to register for NTA CMAT 2021, candidates need to check the eligibility details carefully. The CMAT exam scores are required for admission to around 500 AICTE approved B-schools including University departments, constituent colleges, and management institutions across India.
Latest CMAT 2021 Updates: CMAT registration 2021 extended; apply till January 30, 2021.
The CMAT 2021 result will be declared in online mode along with the final answer key. After the conclusion of NTA CMAT 2021, NTA will release the preliminary answer key of the CMAT exam. As many as 74,672 candidates appeared for the test in 2020. Until 2018, it was administered by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) annually as per the regulations of MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India.
What is the CMAT exam?
The Computer Based Common Management Admission Test commonly called CMAT and NTA CMAT is held by the National Testing Agency for admissions to over 1000 participating Institutes. The CMAT 2021 will be conducted in 245 centers in 104 Cities of 30 States/UTs, CMAT 2021 is a 3-hour test with MCQs from Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General. Each section will have 25 questions for 100 marks.

National Testing Agency has released the CMAT eligibility criteria in the official notification. The CMAT 2021 eligibility criteria are also mentioned on the CMAT official website. Applicants who fulfill the academic qualifications, age limit as specified in CMAT eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance exam.
CMAT 2021 eligibility criteria:
1. Nationality: To apply for CMAT 2021, candidates must be citizens of India.
2. Academic qualifications: Graduates in any discipline from recognized institutes can apply for the CMAT exam. Final year students can also apply for the computer-based online CMAT 2021.
3. Age limit: There is no age limit for appearing in CMAT.

- For PGCM - A bachelor’s in any discipline.
- For Executive PGDM - Candidate must have completed their graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of five years of work experience.
- For MBA & PGDM - He/ She should have finished their graduate degree in any discipline.

CMAT 2021 registration has been started by NTA in online mode. The last date to fill CMAT application form is January 30 which was earlier January 22, 2021. Prior to filling the CMAT application form 2021, candidates need to register themselves in the web account of NTA by providing their basic credentials. Before filling the application form, candidates should keep some important details or documents ready with them which include Qualification details, Scanned passport size photograph, Scanned signature, Valid phone number & Email ID and Credit/ Debit card, or Net banking details.

CMAT 2021 Application form - Procedure
The online application form will be filled by following the steps as under,
1st Step: CMAT Registration 2021 - As a new candidate, you must go to the ‘New Candidate Registration’. This will redirect you to the CMAT Registration Form. On this page, you will need to read all instructions carefully and enter all the personal details (Name, Email ID, Phone Number), create a password, and choose the security question and answer to complete the first step of the CMAT registration form 2021.
NOTE: Upon completion of the form, you will receive a notification from NTA CMAT 2021 which contains CMAT 2021 application number.
2nd Step: Filling Application Form - With the help of login credentials (Application Number and Password), you can log in to the application form page to fill in other details. Candidates need to fill in all the remaining personal details and you must select four test cities for CMAT 2021 to appear (Once the test centre selected, can not be changed in the future).
3rd Step: Uploading of Documents - Next, Candidates have to upload all the required documents in a prescribed format which includes photographs, signature, and PwD certificate, if applicable.

4th Step: Fee payment - Then, They have to pay the CMAT Exam fees 2021 online using a Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, PayTM, UPI, e-Challan, and other payment methods.
5th Step: Finally, download and take a printout of the confirmation page of the CMAT 2021 application form for future reference.

The exam conducting authority, National Testing Agency (NTA) has prescribed the CMAT exam pattern 2021. The total duration of the computer-based online exam will be 180 minutes in two shifts and it will consist of a total of four distinct sections, namely, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness.

NOTE: As per the CMAT 2021 exam pattern, a total of 100 questions are equally divided amongst the four sections (25 X 4 = 100). Each question carries four marks and the maximum score that can be obtained is 400. Each correct answer will fetch +4 marks and each incorrect will be penalized with a negative marking of -1 mark.

The admit card of CMAT 2021 will be released by the National Testing Agency. The online CMAT admit card will be available to candidates who will successfully submit the application form before the deadline. Applicants have to download the admit card by entering their login credentials (Application number and password Or Application number and date of birth). Admit cards will be available through online mode only and it will not be sent via post or any other modes.

NTA will publish the answer key of CMAT 2021 along with the questions right after the conclusion of the exam. Both the answer key and response sheet will be available in online mode only. Test takers can check the CMAT answer key 2021 by logging into the web account using their login credentials.
Candidates will be able to view and print the answer key available on the website and check the correct answers to each question. The CMAT 2021 answer key will help candidates in checking their answers with the correct answer choice thus estimating their scores. CMAT 2021 Answer Key Challenge
- Along with the CMAT 2021 answer key, candidates will be allowed to file an objection, for any disputable answer/response.
- However, the objections will not be considered without a proper reference document.
- File size should be less than 1 MB and in .jpg, .png, .pdf format only.
- The processing charge for filing an objection is Rs. 1000 per question. The same can be paid via debit card/credit card/net banking.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the result of CMAT in online mode only. Candidates have to login in order to check the CMAT result 2021 and download the scorecard. Only the qualified candidates are eligible to participate in further selection rounds. National Testing Agency will not release CMAT cutoff to shortlist candidates for the selection procedure; however, the affiliated institutes will declare their respective CMAT cutoff 2021 after the result gets officially announced. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved institutes will conduct the selection procedure after the declaration of the result/merit list. As per the officials, the participating institutes will conduct their respective selection procedures for the candidates who obtain the cutoff scores. The CMAT 2021 selection procedure varies within institutes. The selection procedure of CMAT 2021 mostly comprised of GD (Group Discussion), PI (Personal Interview) or WAT (Written Ability Test).
CMAT 2021 Selection Process
The CMAT Selection Process 2021 has four main stages,
Taking CMAT Exam 2021: The first part of the CMAT 2021 exam is based on the candidate's performance in the CMAT 2021 exam, which can be measured by the overall score, percentage score, and section score in the CMAT 2021 exam.
Declaration of Result: The CMAT Result 2021 will be available from the first week of February 2021. The CMAT scorecard includes the overall raw score, sectional score, overall percentile, and sectional percentile. CMAT 2021 selection process depends on your place in the National Merit List. The candidate must also submit their CMAT 2021 exam score to the respective B-School where they have already applied or plan to apply now.
Shortlisting by B-Schools: The next stage of the selection process is a shortlist for the final admission round based on the CMAT exam score of the B-School where you applied for MBA Admission 2021. Each participating institute will publish their respective CMAT cutoff 2021, candidates must meet to qualify to join the particular institute. Upon qualification, the candidates must appear for the selection procedure of the particular institution including Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Participate in GD and PI: Many MBA colleges conduct their own GD and PI process for selecting candidates through the CMAT selection procedure for MBA admission. CMAT 2021 selection procedure for final counselling based on entrance exam score, academic performance, work experience, and GD & PI round performance. Final admission offers will be successfully made by B-Schools in May/ June 2021.

yes, as per the information available on the official website of PUMBa, Pune , Maharashtra candidates can appy through MH-CET exam and for outside Mahrashtra students, candidates can apply through CMAT/CAT/MH-CET. How will I get admission in mba through upsee and what is the role of cmat,will aktu cancel upsee and take admission on the basis of cmat?
UPSEE exam was conducted for admission into mba colleges of uttar pradesh under AKTU. However, NTA has announced that Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2021 score will be taken into account for shortlisting of candidates for the MBA programme which is offered by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) affiliated colleges/institutes across Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2021-22 instead of UPSEE exam. The application for CMAT can be filled online till 22 january 2021.
