TANCET participating institutes will release the required TANCET cutoff, which a candidate will have to satisfy, and then they will be able to participate in the TANCET counselling process. DTE Chennai conducts TANCET counselling process in online mode only. TN MBA admission includes counselling registration, document verification, option entry, rank list preparation, and seat allotment. DTE conducts centralized counselling for TN MBA/ MCA admission.

Anna University will release TANCET MBA rank list in online mode, along with TANCET score, rank, college code and branch allotted. The TANCET MBA 2025 seat allotment order comprises the college allotted, the course fee to be paid, and documents required to be carried at the time of reporting at the allotted institute. On the basis of the TANCET 2025 rank list, TANCET MBA counselling for the special reservation category is conducted.

Candidates with a valid scorecard of TANCET 2025 will be eligible to attend TANCET supplementary counselling. Those who have not allotted seat in regular online TANCET counselling, absentees and not registered candidates are eligible to appear for TN supplementary counselling. Those who will be attending supplementary counselling will have to pay the application fee of Rs 600/-* (Rs 300/-* in case of Tamil Nadu SC/ SCA/ ST) and counselling fee of Rs 5000/-* (Rs 1000/-* in case of Tamil Nadu SC/ SCA/ ST) in cash. This amount includes a non-refundable fee of Rs 600/- (Rs 300/- in case of Tamil Nadu SC/ SCA/ ST category).
*Those who have already paid in online TANCET counselling process need not to pay the fee again, but they have to bring the copy of filled TANCET counselling application form and evidence of payment.

TANCET MBA counselling 2025 is a multi-step process, that will be conducted after the declaration of the TANCET MBA 2025 result and ends after the release of the final admission offer to the candidate. All the counselling phases are listed below.
TANCET MBA Result 2025 - Anna University will announce the result for TANCET MBA 2025 on its official website. Candidates will be able to download their TANCET scorecard at tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates can access their TANCET MBA results by using their login credentials.
TANCET Counselling Registration 2025 - Candidates who will clear the TANCET MBA 2025 and satisfy the cutoff criteria will have to register for TANCET counselling. The TANCET MBA counselling 2025 registration form can be filled out and submitted in online mode only. The TANCET MBA counselling fee will be Rs 300 for the unreserved category, which can be paid by the candidates within the stipulated time.

TN MBA/MCA Counselling Guidelines for Registered Candidates
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling round on the basis of scores secured by them in TANCET MBA 2025
- Seats in TANCET MBA participating colleges will be allotted to candidates on the counselling day
- Those who will not be able to appear for the TANCET counselling round because of any reason will not be able to claim a seat or admission on any other date.
- If the applicant has any backlog or is unable to complete the last year of graduation will not be allowed to attend the counselling session
- Tie Breaker Policy- If more than one candidate secures the same marks in TANCET MBA 2025, then in such case their rank will be decided on the basis of the percentage of marks they have obtained in their qualifying examination

Second and Third Round of Counselling - Those who will not be satisfied with the offered college during counselling then they can appear for the second or third round of counselling.
