MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra prescribes the MAH CET 2019 eligibility criteria. As per the officials, test aspirants should obtain a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institute or university to become eligible to appear in MAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test). As per the MAH CET eligibility criteria 2019, even the final year graduation students (Courses 10+2+3) are eligible for applying for MAH CET examination. The computer-based MAH CET conducted in a two-day window, on March 9 and 10, 2019. The authorities successfully conducted all four sessions of MAH CET 2019 on March 9 and 10. DTE Maharashtra, the conducting body of MAH CET 2019 started the application process from January 10 and closed it on February 18, 2019. Candidates aspiring to pursue MBA from Maharashtra in 2019, had to appear for MAH CET 2019. Prior to filling the application form of MAH CET 2019, applicants should check the eligibility criteria of MAH CET 2019.Below mentioned are the highlights of MAH CET 2019 eligibility criteria -
Applicants must be a graduate in any discipline (of minimum period three years) from any college, institute or university acknowledged by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
General category candidates are eligible to appear for MAH CET 2019 only if they have scored a minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate (the grand total of all three or four years of graduation score which decides the class of the candidate).
Final year graduation students (Courses 10+2+3) whose result is scheduled to be declared before commencement of admission for the academic year 2019-19 are also eligible for applying for MAH CET 2019. However, in order to secure final admission to an institute, they need to qualify the examination and also score as per the requirements of MAH CET eligibility criteria 2019.
In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the University/Institution from where they have obtained the undergraduate degree. The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to two places after the decimal.
Only backward class candidates, differently abled and natives of Maharashtra state, required to secure at least 45 percent marks in aggregate in their graduation.
Age Limit – There is no age limit for MAH CET applicants as per the MAH CET eligibility criteria 2019.
Please note that eligible candidates from all over India can apply for MAH CET exam 2019, however, the relaxation pertaining to marks is applicable to Maharashtra State applicants only.
Additional MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2019
As per the official brochure of MAH CET, MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 will reserve 15-30 percent of seats for All India candidates aspiring to appear for MAH-CET 2019.
Candidates might also be granted admission on the basis of their scores in All India MBA entrance examinations like

XAT (conducted by XLRI)
CMAT (conducted by NTA)
MAT (conducted by AIMA)
ATMA (conducted by AIMS)
While filling the MAH CET 2019 application form, students need to mention the category they belong to. They are required to submit a caste/category certificate, if applicable as proof as well.
The candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and SBC categories should produce “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) category should submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except SC, ST candidates during the verification process.
MAH CET 2019 application was available online until February 18. No other mode of application was accepted by DTE, Maharashtra. The application process of MAH CET 2019 had commenced from January 10, 2019.
MAH CET Exam Pattern 2019
According to the MAH CET 2019 exam pattern, it is a computer-based exam (CBT) of two and a half hours duration. The exam consisted of 200 questions in MCQ format and there is no negative marking in MAH CET MBA/MMS entrance exam.
