The ATMA exam pattern 2018 is formulated by the official test conducting body – AIMS (All India Management Association). The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2018 January session will be conducted online on January 14, 2018 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm). Usually, ATMA is conducted several times a year for the admissions to management programmes at various participating institutes. The exam is conducted as per the stated ATMA 2018 exam pattern. The exam is conducted in both the computer-based and paper-based mode for admissions to various Post-Graduate programmes such as MBA, MCA, PGDM, MCM etc. ATMA score is accepted by around 200 institutions. The above table exhibits the exam pattern of ATMA 2018, which remains similar for both online and offline modes. The test will be broadly divided into three sections, but each of the sections will be repeated twice; so the total number of sections will be six.

Each one of the sections will carry 30 questions, total 180 questions, to be answered within the duration of 180 minutes.

 

ATMA Marking Scheme -According to the marking scheme of ATMA 2018, there will be one mark for each correct answer and there is negative marking for each incorrect answer as well. It is important for all aspirants to understand the scoring method to fare well in ATMA 2018. So we bring you the scoring method as decided by the exam conducting body- AIMS:

  • Each correct answer will give one mark.

  • A zero score will be rendered for all unanswered questions. A negative score will be given for an incorrect answer.

  • For each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks (1/4th of the allotted marks to a question).

  • A question with multiple answers, i.e., more than one answer, will be treated as incorrect and, therefore, a negative score (-0.25) will be deducted.

The ATMA exam conducting body officials do not release any ATMA Mock test. The pattern will remain unaltered as that of previous years. This year's test is expected to be of easy to moderate level for both offline and online modes. Candidates can apply for the test online by filling the application form of ATMA 2018. However, it’s advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the test.

ATMA January 2018 results would be declared around January 19, 2018. Candidates who will appear for the test can check the result online.
