NMAT by GMAC Registration 2019 - Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) declared the result of NMAT 2019 on January 16, 2020. The last date for registration of NMAT 2019 was October 3, 2019. Candidates had to first complete NMAT registration 2019 where they filled the basic details and upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. Candidates paid the NMAT registration fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets. The NMAT Registration 2019 fee is Rs. 2000 where candidates can choose upto 5 programmes. An additional fee of Rs. 200 was paid per programme by candidates who wished to apply for more than 5 programmes. NMAT by GMAC is a computer-based test and was held from October 4 to December 17 (over a span of 75 days). Steps for NMAT Registration 2019
For NMAT registration by GMAC candidates had to follow the steps given below to register. However, candidates must ensure that they adhered to the NMAT eligibility criteria 2019 before applying.
1. New Registration
Click on the link provided below and enter your name, country, mobile number, email id and a new password.
Hit on ‘Submit’ and a new window will pop up. The verification mail will be sent to the email address provided in the previous step.
After verifying, click ‘Login’ and enter your email id and password.
Now, your NMAT registration account has been verified.
2. Selection of B-School
Enter your personal details, contact information, educational qualification, work experience and any other details asked for.
Select your most preferred programmes and B-schools for admission under the ‘School Preference’ section. For selecting beyond five programmes/ schools, candidates will be charged an additional fee of Rs.200 + applicable tax per school/ programme.
3. Upload Photograph
Upload a recent, coloured, passport-sized photograph in accordance with the size mentioned below:
Size- Not more than 1 MB
Format- JPG, PNG, GIF.
Colour- white or light-coloured background

4. Recheck and Submission of NMAT Application Form
Check all the information mentioned in the previous steps and correct the errors, if any.
After submitting the NMAT registration form 2019, any changes apart from ‘School Preference’ and ‘Communication Preference’ will not be allowed.
After submission, candidates will see their registration number for NMAT by GMAC displayed on the screen.
Application fee: Click on the ‘Proceed with the online payment’ button and pay the application/ registration fee via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets.

5. NMAT 2019 Registration- Rescheduling
Once the payment of NMAT registration 2019 fee is done, a unique registration ID will be sent to the candidate via email. This ID will be required for future logins.
Schedule the exam and download the NMAT admit card as no hard copy will be sent.
Candidates must note that re-scheduling of NMAT 2019 cannot happen later than 72 hours before the scheduled test, to a different date, time and test centre, even after paying the additional fee.Retake
Candidates can reschedule the test anytime, whereas, a candidate can re-attempt to retake the test with a minimum gap of 15 days from the scheduled test.
NMAT by GMAC can be retaken twice (including ‘no shows’) apart from the original attempt. Applying for retakes will charge additional fees.
Candidates must ensure that the retake exam should be scheduled at least 15 days after their previous attempt.

Once the payment has been done, candidates will be allowed to edit certain sections only, like, school and communication preferences. Therefore, students must recheck the information before submitting the application form.
Registration means the process of filling of application form along with the payment of the fee. On the other hand, Scheduling refers to choosing the exam centre, slot, and date as per preference.
Students can reschedule their test from July 2, 2019, to December 14, 2019. Candidates can reschedule the test depending upon the availability of seats, date, time and test centre. Students must note that the test cannot be rescheduled prior to the 72 hours of the scheduled time of the test.

Universities like NMIMS and Xavier's enrol students with NMAT percentiles of atleast 90. This however requires a score of more than 200 in NMAT.

In almost all colleges the required criteria is NMAT score. So need to worry more just apply to that particular colleges on the basis o your NMAT score(marks).
BTW 159 is very less marks, it can't fetch you the main campus like NMIS, Mumbai or Hyderabad. It will only lead you to tier 2 or 3 colleges.
The cutoff score changes every year. However, you may get selected for the admission procedure, if you have more than 160-165 marks.
