MAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 - All India Management Association (AIMA), the conducting body of Management Aptitude Test (MAT), lays down the eligibility criteria of MAT 2019. Before filling the application form of the exam, it is essential to know the MAT eligibility criteria. As per the MAT 2019 eligibility criteria for the May exam, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognised institute. There is no age limit to appear for MAT. AIMA will conduct MAT May 5 2019 in PBT mode and on May 18 in CBT mode. The application form for MAT May exam has been released on March 7, 2019. The deadline to apply for the paper-based is April 26, 2019 and for computer-based MAT, the application deadline is May 10, 2019. Age limit - There is no age limit for those taking up MAT 2019.
The number of attempts - There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for taking up the MAT.
Other points to be kept in mind -
No job experience is required to apply for the exam.
A certain number of seats are reserved for Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes.
A candidate can apply for the exam as many times as he/she wants to
The final year graduate students who clear MAT 2019 need to submit proof of the completion of their graduation. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their admission to a respective institute.
Eligible candidates must submit the online MAT Application Form before the deadline. The application fee for MAT 2019 is Rs. 1550 if candidates are applying to only one mode, i.e. CBT or PBT. However, one will require to pay an additional Rs. 1100 for applying in both the exams, ie. Rs. 2650 for both PBT and CBT examinations. The fee has to be submitted along with the application form. Candidates can choose the mode/s (online/offline/both) of examination as per their choice.
The candidates who successfully registered for the exam were allowed to download the admit card of MAT 2019. The admit card of MAT 2019 May offline test will be available from April 29. For the online test, the admit card will be released on May 13. It was available for download on the official website. The link for the same was available on this page as and when it was released. As per the MAT exam pattern, the duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
