MAT Eligibility Criteria 2018 – All India Management Association (AIMA), the conducting body of Management Aptitude Test (MAT), prescribes the eligibility criteria of MAT 2018. Only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria of the national level management entrance test can apply for MAT exam. The application form for MAT 2018 December is made available from the October 5, 2018. The last date to apply for the offline test will be November 30, 201,8 and December 7, 2018, for the online test. The MAT 2018 December exam will be conducted on December 9 and December 15, 2018, in offline and online modes respectively. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of MAT 2018 before applying for the exam. MAT exam is conducted four times a year - February, May, September and December. Highlights of MAT Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates who have completed their graduation in any of stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to apply.
- Final year graduates from any discipline including, science, humanities, commerce or engineering stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to apply
Age limit - There is no age limit for those taking up MAT 2018.
There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for taking up the MAT.
No job experience is required to apply for the exam.
A certain number of seats are reserved for Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes.
- A candidate can apply for the exam as many times as he/she wants to
The final year graduate students who clear MAT 2018 need to submit proof of the completion of their graduation. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their admission to a respective institute.
All eligible candidates have to fill and submit the online MAT Application Form before the deadline. The application fee for MAT 2018 is Rs. 1550 that has to be submitted along with the application form. Candidates can choose the mode/s (online/offline/both) of examination as per their choice. However, one will require to pay an additional Rs. 1100/- for applying in both the exams, ie. Rs. 2650 for both PBT and CBT examinations.
The candidates who will successfully register for the exam will be allowed to download the admit card of MAT 2018. The duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
MAT is conducted four times a year – February, May, September and December. MAT score is accepted by more than 600 B-schools across India. The important dates for MAT 2018 December have been declared by AIMA.
