MAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 - All India Management Association (AIMA), the conducting body of Management Aptitude Test (MAT), lays down the eligibility criteria of MAT 2019. Before filling the application form of the exam, it is essential to know the MAT eligibility criteria. As per the MAT 2019 eligibility criteria for February exam, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized institute. There is no age limit to appear for MAT. AIMA has announced that it will conduct MAT February 2019 PBT on February 17, 2019 and MAT February CBT on February 23, 2019. The application form for MAT February exam was made available online from December 16, 2018. The deadline to apply for the offline / paper-based MAT is February 8, 2019 and for the computer-based / online test, the last date to apply is February 12, 2019. The last MAT exam was conducted in December last year wherein PBT was conducted twice and CBT was conducted once in the same month. The result for the same has been released on December 24, 2018. Highlights of MAT Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidates who have completed their graduation in any of stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to apply.
Final year graduates from any discipline including, science, humanities, commerce or engineering stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to apply
Age limit - There is no age limit for those taking up MAT 2019.
Number of attempts - There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for taking up the MAT.
Other points to be kept in mind -
No job experience is required to apply for the exam.
A certain number of seats are reserved for Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes.
A candidate can apply for the exam as many times as he/she wants to
The final year graduate students who clear MAT 2019 need to submit proof of the completion of their graduation. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their admission to a respective institute.
Eligible candidates must submit the online MAT Application Form before the deadline. The application fee for MAT 2019 is Rs. 1550 if candidates are applying to only one mode, i.e. CBT or PBT. However, one will require to pay an additional Rs. 1100/- for applying in both the exams, ie. Rs. 2650 for both PBT and CBT examinations. The fee has to be submitted along with the application form. Candidates can choose the mode/s (online/offline/both) of examination as per their choice.
The candidates who successfully register for the exam will be allowed to download the admit card of MAT 2019. The admit card of MAT 2019 February test will be released on February 9, 2019 for the offline test and February 19 for the online test. It will be available for download on the official website. The link for the same will also be available on this page as and when it is released. As per MAT exam pattern, the duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
