XLRI Jamshedpur will announce the XAT 2025 result probably in the third week of January 2025 in online mode. Candidates will be able to check their XAT exam results by using their their XAT login credentials (User ID and DOB) on the official website- xatonline.in. Candidates can download their XAT scorecard by the last week of March 2025. Prior to the declaration of XAT result, XLRI Jamshedpur will release the XAT response sheet along with XAT answer key on its website. Step 1- Visit the official website of XAT 2025
Step 2- Enter XAT application number/ registered ID and password

After checking XAT results, candidates will have to check whether the following details are mentioned on it or not.
NOTE- Going by the past year's trend of XAT results, the percentile for Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Decision making will represent the relative performance position of a candidate with respect to total number of XAT 2025 test-takers.
The XAT percentile in the XAT result for the General Knowledge section will be calculated independently and will not be included in the process of calculating the total percentile.
Whereas the total percentile will represent the relative position of a candidate in the total number of XAT takers.

The XAT 2025 score of each candidate is calculated with the help of raw scores obtained in each section. As per the marking scheme of XAT, for every correct response, one mark will be awarded and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. No, marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. If a candidate skipped 8 questions consecutively, then 0.10 marks will be deducted. In order to calculate the XAT score, check out the marking scheme. However, XAT response sheet 2025 date will be declared after the XAT 2025 exam.

Presume 80,000 students took the XAT entrance exam and candidate's rank is 500. Then the candidates XAT percentile will be 79,000/80,000 x 100 = 99.375

Understand the XAT percentile calculation with an example:
Suppose 80,000 students will take the XAT entrance test and the candidate's rank is 500. Therefore that candidate's XAT percentile will be:

Post declaration of the XAT result, XLRI Jamshedpur will release the XAT cutoff for the academic session. Candidates will have to check out the XAT cutoff of participating institutes individually by visiting their official website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the further selection round which will include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The selection process will be different for each participating institute.
In order to check the selection status, candidates will be required to visit the official website of XLRI Jamshedpur which is xlri.ac.in. While checking the status, candidates will have to enter the preferred program name from the provided drop-down menu. Going by past year trends, there are three programmes offered by XLRI Jamshedpur.
Note- There is no common admission process to apply at XAT participating institutes, candidates will have to apply individually after checking XAT results.
Post declaration of the XAT result and XAT cutoff, the selection round will take place. XAT selection process will consist of Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Essay Writing. XLRI and participating institutes do not follow the common admission process which means candidates will have to apply individually after the declaration of the XAT result. The final selection of candidates will be based on XAT results and performance in the XAT selection process.
XLRI Jamshedpur will release the official XAT cutoff. The minimum marks required by a candidate to get admission into XLRI or any other participating institute is the XAT cutoff. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling rounds on the basis of the XAT 2025 cutoff. Authorities will release the XAT cutoff 2025 tentatively in the first week of February.
