IBSAT Selection Procedure 2018 - The selection procedure of IBSAT 2018 will start after the announcement of the result. ICFAI Foundation, the conducting body of the exam, will conduct the IBSAT 2018 selection procedure in two-step process. The candidates first appear for IBSAT exam and second the candidates who meet the minimum cutoff criterion appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. After that, the overall performance including past academic records is considered to create the final merit list for admissions. The result of IBSAT 2018 exam will be declared most probably in the first week of January 2019. The IBSAT selection procedure 2018 will begin after that when all the nine participating institutes shortlist the candidates. The candidates who fulfil the minimum IBSAT 2018 cutoff criterion will be eligible for the selection procedure. All the IBSAT 2018 participating institutes will call the eligible students for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The IBSAT 2018 cutoff will be different for different institutes. The final merit list of IBSAT 2018 will be created after examining the candidates’ overall performance in the IBSAT 2018 exam, selection rounds and past academic records. The admission criteria will vary from institute to institute.

 

IBSAT 2018 Selection Procedure

 

The two-step selection procedure of IBSAT 2018 starts right after the announcement of the result. includes two steps. Here are the steps:

  • First, candidates need to appear for IBSAT 2018 exam on the mentioned dates

  • Eligible candidates need to appear for GD and PI rounds

  • Final merit list is created based on (IBSAT score + performance in GD and PI + Past academic records)

Each step gets certain weightage in the final merit list. The below-mentioned table explains the same.

There are nine IBSAT 2018 participating institutes which accept the scores of IBSAT exam for admission to MBA/PGPM programmes. The weightage to each factor may vary from institute to institute.

 

The IBSAT 2018 cutoff is likely to be announced right after the announcement of result. The candidates who do not meet the minimum cutoff criterion will not be shortlisted for the IBSAT selection procedure 2018.

 

IBSAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for admissions to MBA/ PGPM programmes of its 9 constiutent institutes – IBS Hyderabad, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Pune, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Kolkata, and IBS Gurgaon.
