TS ICET Result 2018 - Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE), has declared TS ICET 2018 result on June 13, 2018. The TS ICET result 2018 has been announced in online mode and candidates can check the same either here or from the official website of TS ICET. To view and download the TS ICET 2018 result, candidates have to log in using their login credentials. After the declaration of TS ICET results, the cutoff marks of the respective institutes will be announced. TS ICET 2018 was a 150-minute exam consisting of 200 questions. It was held in two sessions over a period of two days. According to the TS ICET exam pattern, each question carries one mark, hence the total marks scored by candidates will be out of 200 marks.

How is TS ICET Result calculated?
TS ICET exam is divided into three sections - Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. The entrance exam consists of 200 questions and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
TS ICET Result 2018: Tie-Breaking
If two students obtain the same score in the exam, the tie will be resolved in the following way to prepare the merit list:
By considering the candidate’s marks scored in section A
If the tie persists, marks obtained by a candidate in section B will be taken into consideration.
If the tie still persists, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration. The one with the higher age will be placed in the merit list first.
TS ICET answer key (preliminary) was released on May 27, 2018, as per the Convenor of the exam. The candidates were given an option to raise an objection on the preliminary key. No objection will be entertained after the release of final answer key. The result and the final answer key have been announced on June 13, 2018.
As per the marks obtained, the candidates will be given State-wide ranks. The rank obtained in TS ICET 2018 is valid for admission into MBA courses (Full Time / Part Time / Evening / Distance Mode) of all universities in Telangana State.
TS ICET 2018 Cutoff
General and OBC category candidates have to score at least 50 marks (25% of the total marks) out of 200 to qualify the exam. For SC or ST candidates, there is no minimum qualifying percentage/marks. After the announcement of the TS ICET results, candidates will be further shortlisted based on the TS ICET cutoff. The cutoff will be released by the participating institutes of Telangana offering two-year MBA programmes. It will be announced in the form of ranks which will decide the final admission procedure and eligibility of the candidates. A merit list will be released containing the names, scores and ranks of successful candidates will be then generated. These candidates will have to go through GD/PI round and TS ICET counselling to be able to secure admission in the B-schools of Telangana around the first week of July 2018.
As many as 778 B-schools of Telangana accept TSICET scores and the total number of seats is 23,358. Last year, more than 70,000 candidates appeared for the exam.
