What is SNAP?
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP exam as its commonly known is one of the popular management aptitude tests conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. The test is conducted for admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by the 16 SNAP colleges affiliated with the University.
SNAP 2021 tests students in General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. SNAP exam mode is online and the new SNAP test duration is now 60 minutes. Candidates who clear the exam have to apply to the SNAP colleges of their choice and participate in a Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) for admissions.

Symbiosis MBA admissions are through SNAP exam for 16 institutes of the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. The candidate who meet the SNAP eligibility criteria 2021 before registering for the SNAP 2021 exam. The SNAP 2021 eligibility differs for the SNAP exam and MBA admissions. Symbiosis MBA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who qualify SNAP exam 2021 must participate in the selection process of the respective SNAP colleges applying for. Reservation is as per norms. Defence quota for SNAP 2021 exam is as per guidelines mentioned on the official SNAP website.

Symbiosis International Deemed University will start the SNAP registration process tentatively in the last week of September 2021. The university will also provide specific steps to fill the SNAP exam application form as mentioned here.
Steps to fill SNAP 2021 Application Form
Step 1: SNAP Registration 2021 - After clicking on given link above, fill details as specified. Choose the SNAP 2021 test dates from the ones given below
Upload a recent passport size photo (not more than 3 months old)in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif formats only with a file size between 10 KB and 5 MB. Photos above 100 kb will be automatically resized by the system. Verify the registration with the OTP sent to the mobile number and email entered. An e-mail & SMS containing the SNAP exam ID and password will be sent
Step 2: Login and pay the SNAP exam fee- Candidates must pay the SNAP exam 2021 fee of Rs 1750 via Demand Draft or online payment. In case of DD, the amount is Rs. 2065 (SNAP Application Fee- Rs.1750 and Rs. 315 as GST @18%) needs to be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. Candidates paying by DD must send the same to the University who will release their SNAP admit card after the DD is cleared only.
Note: Candidates must separately pay the SNAP college programme registration fee of Rs 1000. The fee is payable per programme per institute. candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in the SNAP application form in fields like name, date of birth, category and test date and test city after submission of the form.

SNAP 2021 is an online (computer-based) exam consisting four sections and carrying 110 multiple choice questions. The total score adds up to 150 (differential marking scheme).
Scoring Scheme: Each question carries one mark and special questions carry 2 marks for each question. Every correct answer gives one mark and each incorrect response will deduct 25 per cent of the allotted marks.

SNAP 2021 Exam Day Instructions
- Candidates are required to report at the test centre by 9 a.m. to undergo verification with the help of the SNAP admit card and ID proof
- An authorized person will verify and authenticate the SNAP admit card against the photo id on the SNAP exam day.
- After 11.10 a.m. no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall and appear for SNAP exam 2021.
- NO extra time will be given to a candidate (excluding Differently Abled candidates) under any circumstances.
- Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators / memory or any electronics gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall..
- The Test Invigilator will check SNAP 2021 Admit Card and ID proof and authenticate the same before the SNAP exam starts.
- Candidates may attempt any section in any order in the SNAP test 2021.
- Candidates using any unfair means will forfeit their chances of admission and will be debarred from receiving SNAP exam 2021 scores.
- A Differently Abled category candidate is requested to contact the authorities with scanned copies of their Medical Certificate to ascertain the percentage of the disability. They should email at email@example.com without fail.
The authenticated SNAP Admit Card must be kept safe for further GE-PIWAT processes and subsequent admissions. If the authenticated SNAP 2021 admit card is lost, a duplicate one will not be issued.

The university may release the SNAP answer key shortly after the conclusion of the SNAP exam. Candidates will have to log in to the official website through their SNAP exam 2021 credentials to check the answer Key of SNAP exam 2021. Candidates will have the option to file for challenges till a specified date. Usually a fee of Rs. 590 (Rs. 500 + 18 percent GST) is charged per question challenged. The amount is refunded if the challenge is found to be correct.

SIU will release SNAP 2021 result. The result of SNAP 2021 is available online and candidates can check their scores (section-wise, scaled scores) secured in SNAP 2021 exam. Candidates must enter their exam User ID and Password to check the SNAP exam result 2021. The shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection rounds, namely General Exercise (GE), Personal Introduction (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

The SNAP cut-off for shortlisting is calculated separately for each programme. Based on the overall SNAP percentile, a candidate may get shortlisted for more than one programme. In such a case, the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.
