What is the ROI for IBS Hyderabad and is it worth preparing for IBSAT or I shld concentrate on other mba entrance exams?

Niveditha 16th Dec, 2019

Hi...

IBS Hyderabad has an unique and innovative approach to business education, that focuses on providing the right knowledge, imparting the right skills for enduring success in management careers, and shaping the right attitudes.

ROI depends on your graduation background and your ability to learn and explore during your MBA study.

I think its a very expensive college and does not gives a student the justice for  the fees what they pay. They will charge you around 16–18 lakhs and will provide you with the average package of 6–7 lakhs. But here comes the catch if you have no other options left then this might be the best option for you because the quality of MBA they provide is good. The intake in IBS Hyderabad is 1200 students and there is no 100 percent guarantee of the placements.

The more you learn and connect the theory to corporate situations, it will be beneficial for you to explain your learning & understanding while your GDPI rounds during placements. Do some homework and list down the institutes and their placement data.

You can concentrate on other exams like CAT which gives you a lot many options of choosing colleges like IIMs , IIFT for MBA in foreign trade and other exams like MAT and XAT can also be written rather than IBSAT , which is considered for only ICFAI colleges.

Best luck...

i need to ask that....i gvae my cat exam this year Im not accepting much may b like 40 percentile or so....and else I have applied for ibsat. i have also applied for asian business school. please help me for like what to do for now or which college to go to based on my cat score Thanku

Loveena Gupta 15th Dec, 2019

Hy manaswee

Looking at your expected cat percentile, there is no mba college in that range.

Some of the colleges can be IILM Gurgaon and Delhi

WLC delhi, DSPSR Delhi

As you can wait for the IBSAT Exam and keep your preparations up to date for upcoming exam.

If you can clear that exam then you can get admission in colleges accepting that score. And if you have applied for some asian schools also,

Manaswee if you are prepared to go onto thosw locations and if there is a probability of your admission there then you can look for a hope.

Good luck
