IBSAT Exam Pattern 2018 - The exam pattern of IBSAT 2018 is prescribed by ICFAI Foundation, the conducting body of the exam. Candidates who are planning to appear the exam must know about the IBSAT 2018 exam pattern as it will help them strategise their preparation. The IBSAT exam pattern usually remains more or less similar every year. IBSAT 2018 will be a computer-based test of 2 hours carrying around 140 multiple choice questions divided into four sections. IBSAT 2018 will be conducted on December 22-23, 2018. IBSAT exam is conducted for admission to various MBA and PGPM programmes to 9 IBS campuses. IBSAT Mock Test will also be released before the exam by the exam officials. Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for any incorrect response. Hence, candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can.

IBSAT Syllabus 2018
Knowing the syllabus will allow the candidates to cover all the topics while preparing for the exam. Here is the complete exam-wise syllabus of IBSAT 2018.
Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation: This section is to test the candidates’ ability to deal with the complex data. The questions are based on tables, bar/line graphs, pie charts, etc. These questions demand quick calculations.
Quantitative Techniques: This section is to test the numerical ability and problem-solving skills of the candidates. The questions are based on topics such as Algebra, LCM, HCF, Time and Speed, Geometry, Ratio and Proportion, Statistics, etc.
Reading Comprehension: In the section, the candidates are required to read the passages and answer the questions based on the passages. It will test the candidates’ ability to quickly read the passages and find the correct answer.
Verbal Ability: This section is to test the candidates’ knowledge of English language. The section has questions based on Sentence Correction, Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Grammar, Idioms, etc. This section usually has more questions than other sections.
The exam centres for IBSAT are expected to be located in around 94 cities in India. The registration for IBSAT 2018 started from July 1 and concluded on December 17. Candidates were advised to check eligibility criteria of IBSAT 2018 before applying.
IBSAT 2018 was conducted on December 22-23 and around 50,000 candidates are expected to write the exam.
