IBSAT 2024: Must-Know Facts
Before preparing for IBSAT 2024, candidates need to know the facts, which will make their preparation easier.
- Registered candidates can book a slot for the IBSAT exam by visiting the IBSAT official website as soon as possible. Only limited numbers of slots are available.
- The IBSAT 2024 registration process commenced on July 1, 2024.
- IBS admission will be based on IBSAT 2024/ CAT/ XAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ GMAT, Micro-Presentation, and Personal Interview.
- Every year, around 25,000+ candidates apply for the IBSAT exam. More than 25,000 candidates are expected for the IBSAT 2024 exam this year.
- ICFAI Business School will conduct the National IBS mock test and will give a reward or gift card to toppers.
- According to last year's data, the lowest cutoff of IBSAT 2024 (55–62) is expected to be accepted by IBS Kolkata and the highest IBSAT 2024 cutoff (72–78) will be accepted by IBS Hyderabad.

IBSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
ICFAI Business School will specify the IBSAT eligibility criteria in online mode. It is mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the IBSAT 2024 exam to fulfill the eligibility criteria so that they do not face any problems related to this in the later stages of IBSAT 2024 admission.
Candidates must be graduates with a minimum of 50% proficiency in English as a medium of instruction.
Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply for IBSAT 2024, but they have to complete their graduation before May 2024.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction to appear for IBSAT entrance test 2024.

ICFAI Business School commenced the registration process for IBSAT on July 1, 2024. Candidates can apply for the IBSAT exam 2024 in both offline and online modes.

IBSAT 2024 Exam Pattern
ICFAI Business School will prescribe the IBSAT 2024 exam pattern online. The IBSAT paper pattern is based on a test structure and marking scheme like any other MBA entrance exam.
The IBSAT exam 2024 will be conducted in computer-based mode through remote proctoring. Candidates can take the IBSAT 2024 exam on their own desktop or laptop. The IBSAT 2024 question paper will consist of a total of 140 questions with a total time duration of 120 minutes.

IBSAT 2024 Mock Test
ICFAI Business School conducts the IBSAT National Mock Test. IBS provides an opportunity to participate in the IBSAT mock test, which exposes you to the actual exam pattern and navigation system. The IBSAT 2024 entrance exam will be held on December 28 and 29. However, it is better to start preparation in advance. The IBS mock test will help you prepare for the test.
ICFAI Business School will conduct the National IBS National mock test from August 31 to December 7. The registered candidates can appear for the mock tests online. It is free and candidates who get the first rank will get a cash reward of Rs. 10,000 as a gift card and candidates who get ranks 2 to 100 will get a gift card of Rs. 2000.
IBSAT 2024 Admit Card
IBS will issue the BSAT 2024 admit card in the third week of December 2024, along with the activation of the IBSAT 2024 slot booking. Only candidates who book an IBSAT exam slot online can download the IBSAT 2024 admit card.
The IBSAT admit card is one of the important documents to be submitted on exam day. Students who fail to provide it will be barred from the examination. IBSAT 2024 will be conducted in home-proctored mode. Candidates have to present a hard copy of their admit card to the invigilator through a webcam.
IBSAT 2024 Result
IBS will declare the IBSAT 2024 result on its official website. The IBSAT result is expected to be declared in the first week of January 2025. To download the IBSAT 2024 scorecard, candidates need to log in using their IBSAT login credentials, such as application form number and password. Based on the marks obtained, the candidates will be called for the selection round.
The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, which are expected to start in the second week of February 2025. In these rounds, candidates are judged on their optimistic outlook, leadership qualities, and negotiation skills.
IBSAT 2024 Cutoff
The IBSAT 2024 cutoff will be released soon after the declaration of the result or along with it. Candidates who meet the IBSAT cutoff will be called for the GD-PI rounds, based on which the final results will be declared.

IBSAT 2024 Selection Process
ICFAI Business School will start the IBSAT 2024 selection procedure after the declaration of the final result. The selection procedure for IBSAT will be conducted for admission to nine campuses of the ICFAI Business School in January 2025.
Candidates who have a valid score in IBSAT 2024, CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC are eligible to participate in the IBSAT selection procedure 2024.
The IBSAT 2024 selection procedure consists of two stages:
Micro-Presentation: A micro-presentation in the selection process is a brief talk or presentation where candidates demonstrate their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think quickly on their feet. Candidates have the opportunity to select one topic out of three. The format allows for 4 minutes in total: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for delivering the presentation.
Personal Interview: The personal interview is an important part of the selection process. Each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes. The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates, besides evaluating their general knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, and aptitude for a career in management.
The final merit list for MBA/ PGDM admission will then be prepared by ICFAI Business School based on the candidate's IBSAT 2024 score and performance in the MP and PI rounds.

The test is designed for people who have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
How does it work?

IBSAT is a home proctored exam and it will held in the last week of December. You should check your admit card and email that whether you have received login credentials or not. In order to give this exam you must have username and password. At the test day they will be sending you the test link and you will have to login with your username and password. If you do not have login credentials then contact their team as soon as possible but only after checking your mail and admit card properly. They will thoroughly guide you everything.
