TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2024

TS ICET is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted to provide admission to candidates in management programmes of Telangana State education institutes. Kakatiya University every year advises candidates to check their eligibility before applying or filling out the application form. Candidates failing to comply with the TS ICET eligibility criteria will not be allowed to sit in the entrance exam and this may also lead to cancellation of admission at successive stages.

The eligibility criteria of TS ICET 2024 include minimum qualification requirements, age limit, and so on. Given below parameters for TS ICET eligibility criteria 2024 for MBA are based on information provided by Kakatiya University.

TS ICET Academic Requirements criteria

• Candidates seeking admission into MBA courses should have passed a bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years duration (except Oriental Languages) with at least 50% marks. For reserved categories, 45% of marks will be considered
• Final-year students are also eligible to apply for TSICET 2024.
• Any degree obtained after a 3- or 4-year programme other than Oriental languages will qualify for admission to the course. However, a minimum qualifying score must be met.
  

TS ICET 2024 Age Criteria

• There is no age bar for candidates to apply for TS ICET 2024.

TSICET 2024 Domicile Criteria

• To fill out the application form candidates must be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order.
• Candidates with Indian citizenship are eligible to apply for TS ICET 2024
• Foreign nationals are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must fulfill the institution-specific eligibility criteria before applying for the TS ICET exam.

1. Students from other nationalities must satisfy their needs per the demands of the respective university.
2. Final year candidates will also be allowed to give TS ICET 2024
3. Admission into any college of Telangana state will depend on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies
4. Qualifying marks in TSICET are likely to be 25% of the total marks and no minimum marks will be prescribed for SC/ST candidates

5. Merely qualifying TS ICET exam 2024 will not entitle candidates to admit into the MBA/MCA courses unless the candidates:

   • Appear for Counseling at the notified Centers

   • Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time\evening\distance mode)

   • Satisfies all the eligibility criteria of TS ICET for admission as stipulated by the concerned authority

TS ICET Application Form 2024

Kakatiya University has released the application form for TS ICET 2024 on March 7, 2024. The TS ICET application form is available in online on the official website, icet.tsche.ac.in. In order to fill the form of TS ICET, candidates will have to first make a payment of Rs 650 (Rs 450 for SC/ ST/ PwD) and register themselves and then fill the application form in detail.
