TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2026: An Overview

TS ICET is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted to provide admission to candidates in management programmes of Telangana State education institutes. The exam authority advises candidates every year to check their eligibility before applying or filling out the application form. Candidates failing to comply with the TG ICET eligibility criteria will not be allowed to sit in the entrance exam, and this may also lead to cancellation of admission at successive stages.

Educational Qualifications for TS ICET 2026

• Candidates seeking admission into MBA courses should have passed a bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years duration (except Oriental Languages) with at least 50% marks. For reserved categories, 45% of marks will be considered

TS ICET Eligibility for Final Year Students

• Final-year students are also eligible to apply for TSICET 2026.
• Any degree obtained after a 3 or 4-year programme other than Oriental languages will qualify for admission to the course. However, a minimum qualifying score must be met.

TS ICET Age Limit 2026

• As per the TS ICET eligibility criteria, there is no age bar for candidates to apply for the TG ICET entrance exam 2026.

TS ICET Domicile Requirements 2026

• To fill out the application form, candidates must be Indian and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order.
• Candidates with Indian citizenship are eligible to apply for TS ICET 2026
• Foreign nationals are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must fulfil the institution-specific eligibility criteria before applying for the TG ICET exam.

• Students from other nationalities must satisfy their needs per the demands of the respective university.
• Final year candidates will also be allowed to give the TS ICET 2026
• Admission into any college of Telangana state will depend on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies
• Qualifying marks in TSICET are 25% of the total marks, and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates
• Merely qualifying for the TS ICET exam 2026 will not entitle candidates to admission to the MBA/MCA courses unless the candidates
  • Appear for TS ICET Counselling at the notified centres
  • Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time/evening/distance mode)
  • Satisfies all the eligibility criteria of TS ICET for admission as stipulated by the concerned authority

• Distance education degrees are accepted for TS ICET 2026, provided they are recognised by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.

TS ICET Application Form 2026

The TS ICET application form is available on the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in, from February 12, 2026. To fill out the form for TS ICET, candidates will have to first make a payment of Rs 750 (Rs 550 for SC/ST/PwD), register themselves and then fill out the application form in detail. The last date for the TS ICET 2026 application has been extended to March 23, 2026.
