The final scores will be sent to the institutes shortlisted by the candidates at the time of filling the NMAT by GMAC application form. If a candidate is able to clear the cutoff of a particular NMAT by GMAC participating institute, then he/she will be shortlisted to appear for Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview rounds. Final merit list will be generated based on candidates’ performance in NMAT by GMAC, selection rounds and or past academic records and work experience. The admission criteria will vary from institute to institute.
NMAT 2017 Selection Procedure
NMAT selection procedure 2017 includes two steps. Candidates scoring the minimum NMAT by GMAC cutoff will be eligible for the selection process. Candidates need to know the below mentioned steps of NMAT by GMAC selection procedure 2017.

Candidates need to appear for Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview rounds.
Some of the institutes may also consider candidates’ profile which includes past academic records and work experience apart from the above two factors. The weightage for each factor or the final NMAT by GMAC selection procedure 2017 will vary from institute to institute. There is no common selection process for NMAT by GMAC. The candidates can reschedule the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam from July 4, 2017 to December 15, 2017. Test takers can reschedule their exam no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled test, to a different date, time and test centre, by paying an additional fee through Credit Card. Candidates can also retake the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam. Candidates can login to their existing NMAT by GMAC account to pay for the retake test through the available payment modes. Test taker can retake the exam after 15 days of the original attempt.
The cut off for NMAT by GMAC will be announced, once the final result of NMAT by GMAC is declared by Graduate Management Admission Council. Candidates scoring less than the required cutoff will not be shortlisted for the further rounds. Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds will be held, once the results will be declared.

Candidates can take NMAT by GMAC thrice, one original attempt followed by two retakes and the best score out of three attempts will be considered for the admission.
