NMAT by GMAC participating institutes 2017: GMAC or Graduate Management Admission Council has announced NMAT by GMAC 2017. There are around 23 B-schools across India accepting NMAT by GMAC 2017 scores for the admission to postgraduate management programs. The result of NMAT 2017 will be declared in the third week of January. Once the result is declared, the scores will be sent to those 5 B-schools, which candidates had opted during the registration process. After the declaration of result, participating Institutes of NMAT by GMAC 2017 will declare shortlist of candidates based on their cutoffs. Candidates can choose up to five programmes/ schools under the “School Preference” section. Beyond five programmes/ schools, they will have to pay Rs.200 + applicable tax for each school/ programme.
Application process for NMAT by GMAC 2017 had started from July 4, 2017, and ended on October 3, 2017. However, the late registration window was open until October 14, 2017. The application fee for original scheduling, late registration and retake scheduling varied accordingly.
The candidates can reschedule the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam from July 4 to December 15, 2017. Test takers can reschedule their exam no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled test, to a different date, time and test centre, by paying an additional fee through Credit Card. Candidates can also retake the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam. Candidates can login to their existing NMAT by GMAC account to pay for the retake test through the available payment modes. Test taker can retake the exam after 15 days of the original attempt.
Candidates can take NMAT by GMAC thrice, one original attempt followed by two retakes and the best score out of three attempts will be considered for the admission.
As per the selection process of NMAT by GMAC 2017, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of NMAT by GMAC scores. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the selection rounds at those institutes. After the declaration of final NMAT by GMAC result in the third week of January 2018, selection procedure will begin.
The final scores will be sent to the institutes shortlisted by the candidates at the time of filling the form. If a candidate is able to clear the cutoff of a particular NMAT by GMAC participating institute, then he/she will be shortlisted to appear for NMAT by GMAC Selection Procedure Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview rounds. Final merit list will be generated based on candidates’ performance in NMAT by GMAC, GD/ WAT/ CD-PI rounds and or past academic records and work experience.
