SNAP Registration 2018 – SNAP 2018 registration started on August 28 and closed the process on November 28. The SNAP registration process was completely online. Candidates needed to do the SNAP 2018 registration first in order to fill the SNAP application form 2018. While filling up the SNAP 2018 application form, candidates could choose up to three exam cities as per their preference. The complete address of the SNAP exam centre was mentioned on the SNAP admit card which was released on December 1. The hall ticket could be downloaded by logging in with the SNAP login ID and password. Registered could take the SNAP mock test from December 11 to 14, 2018 by registering for it using their SNAP ID. The Symbiosis International (Deemed University), the conducting body of SNAP has successfully conducted SNAP 2018 on December 16, 2018. It was held from 2PM to 4PM in online mode. As per the eligibility criteria of SNAP 2018, graduates in any discipline from a recognised university or institute with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks could apply for SNAP 2018. Final year graduation students were also eligible to apply, provided they attain the degree with the requisite percentage within the stipulated schedule.

 Now, let’s take a look at what all candidates need to register for SNAP.

Pre-requisites for SNAP 2018 Registration

  • A laptop or a desktop computer with a good internet connection

  • A valid email address and contact details (mobile number)

  • A recent photograph in .jpg/ .jpeg/ .png/ .gif formats, with size between 10 KB to 100 KB

  • Mark-sheets or Degree certificates (required to enter the details while filling the application form)

How to Fill SNAP Application Form 2018? 

Steps for SNAP registration 2018- 

1. Register for SNAP Test

  • Visit the official website of SNAP test or click on the link given above to fill the form.
  • Click on Register.
  • Fill the first part of SNAP Registration Form with the personal, educational, and other details in the space provided in the registration form. Make sure that the information filled is accurate.
  • Enter OTP and valid mobile number. Next, verify your email ID. 

2. Make Payment for SNAP 2018 Test

Pay the SNAP Test Fee which is a refundable amount of 1,750/-. The various payment modes available are: 

Online Payment options: Credit/Debit card should either be Visa or Master card. Candidates can transfer SNAP application form fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account using Net Banking option after the registration. The payment can be done using the following available gateways-

  • Online payment through Billdesk Payment Gateway

  • Online payment through Easebuzz Payment Gateway

  • Online payment through Indian Bank Payment Gateway

Payment through Cash: After completing the online registration process of SNAP 2018, candidates will have to print the 'Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan' from the SNAP website. It is in 3 parts and they need to Pay Rs. 1750 in cash at any Axis Bank or Indian Bank branch in your city. The bank will return two stamped parts of the 'Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan' to the candidate. Candidates need to keep the Candidate copy as payment receipt. They must sign the stamped 'Symbiosis copy' of the 'Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan' and send it to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat.  

Payment through Demand Draft: Candidates can also pay through a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750 from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. 

They must choose the mode of payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Candidates should take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the following address:

Once the payment of Demand Draft is realised at the Exam Office, candidates can view their Admit Card by logging into their SNAP 2018 account which would be available for download from December 1.

3. Fill the Application Form of SNAP 2018

After making the non-refundable payment for SNAP 2018 Entrance Test, candidates could complete the online registration form (Part II) for Programme(s) registration and the respective institute (s). A separate non-refundable payment of Rs. 1000/- per programme per institute at this stage had to be made. 

Candidates were also required to upload a scanned copy of their photograph which will be printed on the admit card of SNAP. The photograph should not be more than three months old and should be within the recommended format:

What after SNAP Application Form 2018

Now that the application process is closed and SNAP admit card is released, candidates must download the SNAP 2018 admit card. Only registered candidates who submitted the SNAP 2018 application form along with the application fee were able to download the admit card by logging in with their SNAP login ID and password. They could also take the SNAP Mock test by registering for it from the official website using the SNAP ID between December 11 to 14 at a convenient time slot which could be selected at the time of mock test registration. 

According to SNAP 2018 exam pattern, it was an online test of two hours carrying 130 multiple choice questions divided into four sections. Each question carries one mark and every incorrect response will deduct 0.25 marks. The exam centres were located all over India. SNAP 2018 was conducted on December 16, 2018, and the result has been declared on January 10, 2019. The officials have released the answer key of SNAP for the first time. It was released on the official website of SNAP on December 19. Candidates may also challenge the answer key by paying a fee of Rs.590 in online mode before December 21, 2018.
