The SNAP 2026 exam will consist of four sections, as per the new SNAP exam pattern 2026. The SIU has added a new section of Ethics, but adjusted the number of questions, and the SNAP marking scheme is also the same as last year.

    • The SNAP 2026 exam will be of a total of 60 marks against 60 MCQ-type questions.

    • A negative marking of -0.25 marks is applied to each incorrect response by the candidate.

    • Each correct answer carries 1 mark. Each incorrect answer attracts a penalty of 25% of the marks assigned to that question, equivalent to 0.25 mark for a one-mark question.

How to Calculate SNAP Marks 2026?

MBA aspirants must know how to calculate their SNAP score for MBA admission 2027. The calculation is quite easy and does not require any expertise. Candidates can calculate their SNAP score by knowing the SNAP 2026 marking scheme and the calculation process mentioned in the following section.

Suppose a candidate has attempted 35 questions, out of which 05 are incorrect; then their score will be 28.75. How? Check the points mentioned below

    Attempted Questions: 35
    Correct: 30
    Incorrect: 05
So the SNAP 2026 Marks would be:

    30 x 1 - (05 x 0.25) = 30 - 1.25 = 28.75 Marks
