What are the details mentioned on the XAT admit card 2021?

Students must check for the following details mentioned on the XAT 2021 admit card:

  • XAT ID and password (to be used for login in the computer at the exam centre)

  • Photograph and signature of the candidates

  • Name of the candidate

  • Date of birth

  • Reporting time and examination time

What are the Instructions Mentioned on the XAT Admit Card 2021?

  • On the day of examination, applicants must bring any of the following valid photo ID proof for verification process:

    • Aadhar card

    • Voter ID card

    • PAN card

    • Valid college ID

    • Passport

    • Driving License

    • Employee ID card

  • In case of any discrepancy in the admit card of XAT 2021, candidates are advised to bring the latest passport size photograph along.

  • The XAT 2021 admit card will be valid for the specified date and time of exam only.

  • No requests for change in the exam centre will be entertained.

  • After the gate closure time no student will be allowed to enter.

  • The candidature for the examination will be completely provisional. The candidature is liable to be cancelled at any stage of process, if eligibility criteria is not fulfilled by the applicant.

  • Use and possession of any electronic device such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches and other metal items is strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Students are advised to wear plain clothes and cardigans.

  • All the aspirants will have to go through the frisking activity while entering the examination centre. No facility for storage will be provided, hence, if any objectionable item is found, students will be asked to leave it behind.

  • Students showcasing non-cooperation will be barred from giving the exam.

  • Prior 10 minutes to the examination, students will be allowed to login on their respective systems.

  • Guardians/friends/family are not allowed to accompany inside the exam centre.

  • Candidates will be provided with a rough sheet and pen.

  • Once the exam gets over, students will have to submit the rough sheet to the invigilator.

  • The reference number on the admit card is meant for seating arrangement only.

What is the Importance of XAT Admit Card 2021?

XAT 2021 admit card is an essential document which has to be carried on the day of examination. No candidate will be given entry to the allotted exam centre without the XAT admit card 2021. Hall ticket includes the information regarding the candidate and examination. Students are hereby advised to retain the admit card of XAT 2021 until the admission process gets over as it will be required during the counselling and allotment process.

XAT 2021 - Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates are advised to report their respective exam centre one hour prior to the commencement of the exam.

  • Students must adhere to the instructions provided otherwise they will be disqualified.

  • As per the Centre Registration Number (CRN) candidates will have to occupy the seat.

  • Rough work has to be done in the margins and any kind of misbehaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Negative marking for unattempted questions will be distributed across the three sections proportionately.

  • Candidates who will finish the exam before the allotted time will not be allowed to leave the centre.

XAT Exam Centres 2021

Authorities will release the XAT 2021 exam centres along with the notification. However based on previous year trends, XAT 2021 is expected to held across 71 cities among which some of the cities are Agra, Allahabad, Ambala, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi-NCR, Dibrugarh, Kanpur, Raipur, Pune, Nashik and so forth. While filling the application form, candidates will be asked to fill their preferred exam centre and allotment will be done as per preference or nearby the preferred location.

XAT Exam Pattern 2021

Before appearing for XAT 2021, candidates are hereby advised to go through the exam pattern. With the help of XAT 2021 exam pattern candidates will be able to know the number of sections, exam duration and marking scheme. As per the XAT exam pattern 2021, the paper will include 4 sections. XAT 2021 will be a computer based test conducted for a duration of 3 hours without any break.

Incase candidate forget its password to login he/she must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 4 - Link to change password will be sent on the email ID provided.

Step 5 - Check mail and tap on the link provided.

So my situation is this, i have 47% in graduation and got 80 percentile in XAT, so this is limiting my options for admissions in mba colleges. What should i do?

Dear aspirant,

Yes this will limit your options for admission in MBA colleges as most of these MBA colleges look at past academic performance of the candidate. Your percentage will definitely be a hindrance in your admission into any top IIM college or XLRI.

You can always take admission in tier 2/3 management colleges.

XISS admissions are ongoing, if you are desirous of seeking admission at Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi will have to appear in an all India level management admission test. XISS, Ranchi considers only the following three admission test scores for shortlisting the candidates i.e. XAT, CAT and CMAT.

If you have not given XAT 2020, you can apply through CAT, CMAT as well.
