Karnataka PGCET MBA 2020 Result: Ranking of the candidates
Candidates who have appeared in the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2020 will be allotted ranks according to the scores which they have obtained in the examination. Ranking of the candidates is useful for the counselling process as the candidates will be allotted to different colleges on the basis of their rank they have obtained in the examination. Tie Breaker Method 1: In this method, candidates who have a higher total aggregate in qualifying exam will be awarded a higher rank.
Method: The candidates who are older are preferred over the younger candidate who has obtained the same marks.
Merit List: A merit list is prepared for the candidates on the basis of their ranks obtained by them in the examination. For government seats, merit list will also be influenced by the list of the candidates claiming the benefit of reservation under Admission Rules of Karnataka Examinations Authority.

After the commencement of the examination, candidates will be called for the counselling. Ramu, yes you can appear for Karnataka PGCET though you are from AP. But yes, you will not be considered for Karnataka reservation policy reserved for its Candidates. While 90% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka domicile Candidates, 10% of the seats are reserved for Non Karnataka domicile Candidates.
