Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2018 - Karnataka Examinations Authority formulates the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 eligibility criteria. The online application process for Karnataka PGCET 2018 had commenced from May 19 and continued until Sunday, June 10, 2018. Aspiring candidates who want to pursue MBA anywhere in Karnataka should first check the Karnataka PGCET MBA eligibility criteria 2018 before filling the application form. According to the eligibility criteria of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018, a candidate must obtain a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The paper-based Karnataka PGCET MBA will be conducted on Sunday, July 15, 2018, between 2:30-4:30 PM. Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2018 - full-time MBA programme

  • A valid Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent examination from any recognised University.

  • For General category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • For SC/ST/ Category- I category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • Please note that the above-mentioned reservation is applicable only for Karnataka state candidates.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria - part-time MBA programme

  • A Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent examination from any recognised University.

  • For General category candidates, a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • For SC/ST/ Category- I category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate but this reservation is applicable only for Karnataka state candidates.

  • Additionally, candidates aspiring for part-time MBA programme must have a work experience of not less than three years as on 31 st July 2018, in an establishment and must be working in an organisation situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution where a candidate seeks admission to. 

Please note that rounding off aggregate percentage is not permitted for any of the above-mentioned scores.

 

Karnataka PGCET 2018 (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) is state level MBA entrance exam conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) for admissions to postgraduate management programmes across the state of Karnataka. The online Karnataka PGCET MBA application form 2018 was made available from May 19 on the official website.

 

As per the Karnataka PGCET MBA exam pattern 2018, the entrance exam is conducted in a paper-pencil mode with multiple choice questions and is segregated into four sections. Each section comprises of 25 questions, making it a total of 100 questions. The duration of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 is two hours (2:30-4:30 PM).
