Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2019 - For applying to Regular/ Full-Time MBA programme
Must obtain a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration in any subject or equivalent examination from any recognised University.
Moreover, the candidates belonging to General category, need to secure a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent across all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.
However, for the SC/ST/ Category- I category test takers, a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent is required in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.
Please note that the reservation mentioned above will be applicable to candidates from Karnataka state.
Age Limit - There is no limit in terms of age to appear in the examination.
Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria - For applying to Part-Time MBA programme
Should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent examination from any recognised University across disciplines.
General category candidates need to secure a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.
SC/ST/ Category- I category examinees should get a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate but this reservation is applicable only for Karnataka state candidates.
Moreover, candidates applying for part-time MBA programme in Karnataka-based institutes must have a work experience of not less than three years as on 31 st July 2019, in an establishment and must be working in an organisation situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution where the applicant seeks admission to.
Please note - The rounding off aggregate percentage is not permitted for any of the scores mentioned above.
According to the Karnataka PGCET MBA exam pattern 2019, the entrance exam will be conducted in a paper-pencil mode with multiple choice questions which will be divided into four sections. Each section will comprise 25 questions, making it a total of 100 questions. The duration of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 will be two hours only. Karnataka PGCET 2019 (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) is state level management entrance exam conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) for offering admission to aspirants in postgraduate management programmes across the state of Karnataka.
