KMAT Selection Procedure 2018 - After the declaration of result, the selection procedure of KMAT 2018 will take place for those test takers who have scored marks as per the cut off. The KMAT 2018 selection procedure is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for admission to postgraduate management courses across the top B-schools of Karnataka and Bangalore. KMAT selection procedure 2018 will commence after each institute affiliated to KPPGCA who accepts KMAT score announces the list of shortlisted candidates. These shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection procedure. The selection procedure of KMAT 2018 will filter candidates for the most appropriate management programme and institute. KMAT will be conducted in the last week of July and the result of the written test will be declared in the first week of August. Candidates have to meet the cut-off set by the conducting body to be eligible for selection procedure.

As per the exam pattern of KMAT, the conducting body KPPGCA will not conduct counselling rounds but will conduct selection procedure. KMAT 2018 will hold this parts of the selection process of KMAT after the declaration of KMAT result 2018. While the other part is where the KMAT accepting B-schools shortlist candidates based on the cut-off set by them. Each college/institute will have their own cut off score and thus, a candidate has to apply separately to each participating B-school of KMAT.
Another part of the selection process constitutes the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Some B-schools may ask candidates to take essay writing test or written ability test (WAT). KMAT participating institutes may also consider a candidate based on their prior academic records, work experience and other factors such as extracurricular activities. It all depends on the system of selection of the particular institute.
KMAT is conducted for admission to a number of postgraduate programmes covering 10,000 seats. Kerala aspirants can also apply for the entrance exam after checking the eligibility of KMAT 2018.
