What is JAP 2026?

JAP 2026 is the Joint Admission Process for the 4 IIMs- IIM Raipur, IIM Kashipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirapalli. Based on the CAT 2025 score, the Joint Admission Process 2026 would give the management aspirants a chance to apply for these four IIMS through a single window. Those who have CAT 2025 candidates will be able to complete their IIM Admission 2026 through this single joint admission process 2026. The MBA program at the four participating IIMs is a two-year, full-time, residential postgraduate degree designed for graduates from all disciplines who aspire to pursue a career in management.

JAP 2026 Registration

For the IIM JAP 2026 admission it is very important that the candidates complete their JAP 2026 registration before the JAP 2026 application deadline. While JAP 2026 dates are not out yet, without JAP 2026 registration none will be called for the JAP 2026 Personal Interview round even if they match the JAP 2026 eligibility criteria. All candidates who have opted for IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, or IIM Tiruchirappalli as the institute(s) in the CAT 2025 application form and fulfill the minimum academic and CAT 2025-related eligibility criteria (to be announced soon), will receive an email invitation from the JAP 2026 Admission Office to register online.

JAP 2026 Dates

While JAP 2026 Dates are not out yet one can expect that JAP 2026 Registration form will be sent to those who match the minimum JAP 2026 Cutoff around January 2026. Those willing to take admission through IIM Admission 2026 through JAP 2026 need to complete the JAP 2026 Registration form. Those who fill up the registration form will be called for the JAP 2026 Personal Interview process. The JAP 2026 PI Shortlisting date is expected to be around February.

JAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Apart from matching the minimum JAP 2026 Cutoff , here are other JAP 2026 eligibility criteria that one need to match

1. Candidates for JAP 2026 need to have a minimum of 3 years of bachelors degree from a recognised university.

2. To be eligible for the JAP 2026 general/ EWS/Nc-OBC candidates need to have minimum 60% marks in their class X and XII and 50% marks in Graduation.

3. On the similar lines SC/ST needs 50% marks in X and XII while 45 % marks in their Graduation.

4. Final Year Students who are willing to take management studies courses are also eligible to apply for JAP 2026, provided they match the minimum IIM JAP 2025 Cutoff for the JAP 2026 admission.

IIM JAP CAT 2025 Cutoff

To get into anIn the following table, we have mentioned the IIM CAT JAP 2025 cutoffs, which are also the minimum eligibility criteria for JAP 2026 registration process.

NOTE: Candidates may please note that the actual section-wise and the overall CAT-2025 percentile cutoffs may be much higher than the above-mentioned minimum percentiles, as it will depend upon the number of candidates to be called for the PI in each category.

JAP Selection Process

JAP 2026 adopts the following two-step procedure for selecting candidates to appear in the Personal Interview (PI).

STEP 1: Online registration by candidates upon the declaration of CAT 2025

results and receipt of the invitation email from JAP 2026

• After the CAT 2025 results are released, all eligible candidates who opted for these IIMs will receive an email invitation to register online. They must complete the online registration within the given deadline.

• Furthermore, candidates must ensure that they meet the minimum academic & CAT score eligibility before registering.

STEP 2: Shortlisting of candidates for the PI for JAP 2026

• Based on CAT scores & category, registered candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI).

• If shortlisted, you receive details of the PI date, time, and venue by email and on the JAP portal.

• Work experience scores will be awarded based on the length of service as of December 31, 2025.

JAP 2026 Work experience scores will be awarded based on the length of service as of December 31, 2025. JAP 2026 admission 2026 will only consider

• full-time,

• -remunerative

• supported by Income Tax Deduction at Source

• Provident Fund deduction, or Professional Tax (wherever applicable)

Work experience, calculated in complete months from the date of declaration of the candidate’s Graduation/CA/ICWA (CMA)/CS results, will be considered. Candidates must ensure that the work experience they claim is authentic and professionally significant to merit credit.

However, following the IM Work experience will not be counted as the IIM JAP 2026 work experience
