TS ICET Cutoff 2019 - TS ICET 2019 exam will be conducted on May 23 & 24, 2019, in two slots. The management aspirants who are planning to appear for the exam will need to qualify the TS ICET 2019 cutoff criterion in order to qualify the admission process of the B-schools in Telangana. The TS ICET exam is conducted by Kaktiya University, Warangal, on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). The TS ICET cutoff 2019 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to be eligible for the admission process in the B-schools accepting the scores of the exam.  The TS ICET 2019 cutoff will be released by the participating institutes as soon as the result is declared on June 13, 2019 along with the final answer key. TS ICET Cutoff 2019 – Important Points to be Considered


Each participating institute will release its own cutoff based on their admission policies. A number of factors are considered to decide the TS ICET 2019 cutoff. Some of these are:


  • Previous year cutoff marks/ranks

  • Marking scheme of TS ICET 2019

  • Difficulty level of the examination

  • Number of exam takers

  • Availability of seats

  • Lowest and average scores in the exam post announcement of results

  • Reservation of seats for various categories

  • Overall performance of candidates in the exam


The cutoff ranks are expected to remain the same as last year. Based on the trends of previous years’, this year’s cutoff is likely to be around 50 out of 200 marks. As per TSCHE, the cutoff is 25 percent of the total allotted marks i.e. 200. Hence, the cutoff marks are likely to be 50 (25 percent of 200).

The TS ICET counselling is based on the TS ICET cutoff released as the ranks shared in the cutoff will decide if candidates are eligible for the counselling and other admission formalities.

The result of TS ICET 2019 will be declared on June 13, 2019 by the exam-conducting body. After that, the cutoff will be released by the participating institutes. The candidates who qualify the cutoff will be called for the counselling of TS ICET 2019 as per the ranks in the exam. Candidates will be allotted seats in the order of their merit.


The allotment order for TS ICET 2019 will be released in the first week of July. Candidates would be able to download the same by logging in with their Login ID, Hall Ticket No, Date of Birth and Password. The TS ICET 2019 counselling will be held in four stages. 


For admissions, there are some general eligibility criteria that every candidate needs to fulfil. Here are the same:


  • Candidate shall be an Indian National. 

  • Candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh.

  • However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship is 30 years for OC candidates and 34 years for other candidates as on July 1, 2019.

  • The candidate seeking MBA admission should have passed Recognised Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration except for Oriental Languages.


Note: Mere appearing for TS ICET 2019 and obtaining a rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admissions.
