MAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on March 01, 2026, in paper-based test mode and on March 08, 2026, in the computer-based test mode for MBA admission 2026-28. Candidates willing to appear for the MAT 2026 exam must fulfil the MAT 2026 eligibility requirements mentioned below.
Candidates are required to have completed their bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (and 45% marks in case of reserved category candidates) from a recognised university.
Candidates who are waiting for the final results can also apply for the MAT 2026 exam.
Candidates eying for MBA admission 2026-28 through the MAT 2026 exam are advised to go through the MAT 2026 registration process mentioned below.
Step 1: Visit the AIMA official website - mat.aima.in.
Step 2: Choose the mode of the MAT exam from CBT, PBT, or both.
Step 3: Upload the passport-sized photo and signature (only in JPEG or JPG, and size between 10kb and 50kb).
Step 4: Choose the management institute, 5 per candidate. However, candidates opting for the CBT+PBT exam mode can choose an additional 2 management institutes.
Step 5: Pay the MAT registration fee of Rs. 2200 for CBT/PBT and Rs. 3800 for CBT+PBT through Debit / Credit Card / UPI/ Net Banking / Wallet.
Step 6: Fill in all the required details in the MAT 2026 registration form.
Step 7: Click on the submit button for the final submission of the MAT 2026 registration form.
Note: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 118 (inclusive of 18% GST) per management institution after the specified limit.
Candidates who wish to appear for the MAT 2026 exam are required to pay the MAT application fee of Rs. 2200 for any mode of exam, either CBT or PBT and Rs. 3800 for the combined PBT and CBT mode of examination. You can make the MAT 2026 application fee payment via debit card, credit card, UPI, net banking or wallet.
