CMAT Registration 2019 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) had started the CMAT 2019 registration from November 1, 2018. The last date for CMAT registration 2019 was extended to December 7, 2018. Additionally, the last date to pay the registration fee and upload scanned images of documents was extended to December 8, 2018. CMAT application form 2019 was available online only. The complete CMAT 2019 registration procedure comprised registration, fee payment and filling up the online application form. It is imperative for aspiring test takers to know the eligibility and register/apply for the CMAT in order to appear for the management based entrance test. Candidates were free to select up to three test centres as per their own convenience while filling CMAT 2019 application form. From 2019 onwards, NTA is conducting CMAT instead of AICTE. CMAT 2019 was conducted on Monday, January 28, 2019, in two shifts. As per the official notification, a total number of 64,582 candidates registered for the exam whereas 54,516 applicants finally appeared for the examination. As per the CMAT eligibility criteria 2019, a candidate must have obtained a three-year graduate degree from a recognised institute with minimum 50 per cent score for General category and minimum 45 per cent score for SC/ST category applicants.

What to keep ready before filling the CMAT Application Form 2019?
All aspiring test takers need to keep the relevant documents pertaining to CMAT registration handy before beginning the process. Careers360, here, provides registration guidelines for the CMAT 2019 aspirants-
Candidates should ensure access to a good Internet connection to avoid any interruptions during the registration procedure.
Keep all prior academic qualification details ready as they need to be filled during the application process.
A scanned passport photograph ready to be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb).
Scanned signature with clarity on a white background and ready to be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb)
A valid mobile number, as candidates would be notified via SMS.
A valid email address for further communication.
A valid Debit/Credit card/Net banking account to make the payment of the CMAT 2019 application form fee online.
A printer should be connected to the system so that one can take three copies of the e-challan if he/she plans to deposit the fees via cash at the bank.
CMAT applicants should note that no correction would be allowed at a later stage after the submission of an application. No change/modification will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application including e-mail etc.

How to fill CMAT Application Form 2019?
All eligible aspirants ought to register first and then fill the CMAT 2019 application form.
Step 1: Instructions and Online CMAT Registration
The term ‘NEW USER’ is applicable to candidates who appear in CMAT for the first time. These candidates need to undergo the process of Self Registration by creating an account to proceed with the CMAT registration 2019. For doing the same, one will be required to enter the basic credentials. Candidates must ensure to enter the correct information and verify the same before submitting as details, once confirmed, cannot be edited. Submitting the page will generate a unique six-digit password. The password would be displayed on the screen and will be sent to the candidates via E-mail and SMS as well. Henceforth, the candidate becomes an EXISTING USER and can log-in with his/her e-mail ID and the unique 6 digit password, whenever required during the entire tenure of CMAT examination.
Step 2: Visit the official website
Candidates can apply for CMAT- 2019 in online mode only through official website of CMAT (ntacmat.nic.in)
Step 3: Eligibility
All CMAT applicants should ensure their eligibility as per the criteria formulated by NTA for CMAT.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
The next step will be to make the necessary payments to complete the application procedure. The fee payment can be done via the following modes:
Cash deposit using e-challan
The male candidates across the categories (General, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD) have to pay Rs. 1400 whereas the female and transgender candidates have to pay Rs. 700. Last year, the application fee for General and NC-OBC male candidates was Rs. 1400 whereas the female candidates from these categories had to pay Rs. 700. On the other hand, the application fee for the reserved category candidates across genders was Rs. 700. This year onwards, NTA has segregated the fee according to candidate genders and not categories.

Step 5: Mode of Payment
The CMAT application fee 2019 is to be submitted through SBI MOPS using Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/e-Challan facility.
Step 6: Filling the online CMAT application form 2019
Candidates should duly fill the CMAT 2019 application form in the process mentioned below-
Registration and Application Number Generation - Candidates should enter all the required details while filling the Online Application Form and create PASSWORD. Applicants need to choose Security Question and enter their answers. After successful submission of the personal details, a unique application number will be generated which will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form. For subsequent logins, candidates will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application Number and created Password.
Complete the CMAT Application Form 2019 - Candidates can login with the system generated Application Number and created Password for completing the Application Form. Following details should be correctly entered by aspirants-
Personal details such as Name, Father's Name and Date of Birth (DOB).
Academic details including high school, senior secondary school and graduation completion details.
CMAT 2019 Application Form should be filled carefully as the facility for Correction will not be given to candidates.
Upload scanned images of applicants' Photograph and Candidate Signature -
Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
Size of the scanned photograph - 10 kb to 200 kb.
Size of the scanned signature - 4 kb to 30 kb.
The photograph can be coloured or black/white but should have clarity and clear contrast.
It should be noted that Photograph and Signature once uploaded cannot be changed or altered as the facility for correction in images will not be provided by NTA.

Pay Examination Fee by SBI MOPS (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/e-Challan) -
The candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of the fee. After successful payment, candidates will be able to print the Confirmation Page. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the candidate's account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
Step 7: Things to Remember about PASSWORD
During registration, candidates will be required to choose PASSWORD and Security Question and its Answer. Candidates are advised to remember their respective passwords for all future logins.
The Password must be as per the following official Password policy-
Password must have 8 to 13 characters.
Password must have at least one Uppercase alphabet.
Password must have at least one Lowercase alphabet.
For subsequent logins, candidates will be able to login directly with his/her respective system generated Application Number and the chosen Password.
Candidates are advised not to disclose or share his/her password with anybody. Neither NTA nor NIC will be responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate.
Candidates can change their passwords after login, if desired.
Candidates should remember to log out at the end of their session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered or modified by unauthorised individuals.
Step- 8: How to reset the Password -The following options are available to reset the Password-
By using the Security Question & its Answer chosen during CMAT registration 2019
Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to the registered mobile No.
Using a reset link sent via Email to the Registered Email address.
After the registration of CMAT 2019, candidates will need to click on the 'Submit' button to complete the CMAT application form. Applicants would be prompted to click on the 'I Accept' tab, against an official declaration. Once done, they will receive a message on the screen stating “Thank you for successfully registering for the CMAT 2019 exam.”
An application number would be printed on the computer generated a confirmation page and it must be mentioned in all correspondences, as and when required. It is essential to note down the application number printed on the Confirmation Page.
Note- Candidates should also note that clicking on ‘VIEW/MODIFY’ tab will allow them to modify their mentioned information in case they want to modify any. It is highly recommended that aspiring test takers should carefully verify the filled-in form to avoid mistakes.
What after CMAT Application Form 2019?
Post registration, candidates would receive their CMAT 2019 admit card in online mode. The admit card has been released by NTA on January 7, 2019.
According to the CMAT Exam Pattern 2019, a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

Q> When registering for the CMAT, can I use someone else's email address?
Careers360 - No, you will not be able to register through someone else's email address. You will need a valid email address of yourself, as for the next seven-eight months all the communication will be received via the registered email address.
Q> Can I pay the fees through DD (Demand Draft) or Cash or Cheque? Where do I pay the fees?
Careers360 - No, you cannot pay the fees through cheque or demand draft. It can only be paid online via debit/credit card/netbanking or cash using e-challan. If you plan to pay cash, you will need to generate an e-challan through the website.
Q> When is the test being held and will I be able to choose a test city?
Careers360 - CMAT will be conducted by NTA on Monday, January 28, 2019. Yes, you can select up to four test cities of your preference. Your first preference for the test city will be given the utmost weight; however, the actual allotment of the test city is subject to availability of seats.
Q> Can I change my preferred test city after submitting my form?
Careers360 - No, you will not be able to make any changes once you have submitted the CMAT 2019 application form.
Q> Can I cancel my application and apply for the refund of fee, after submission of CMAT registration fee?
Careers360 - Cancellation of application or refund of the fee is not allowed, under any condition.
Q> Will I be eligible for a refund, in case I do not take my test.
