    CMAT Marks vs 99 Percentile: How to Calculate

    The CMAT 2026 percentile will indicate the position of a candidate in relation to other candidates in the CMAT 2026 exam. Candidates can calculate the CMAT percentile following the points mentioned below.

    Step 1: Calculate the number of candidates who appeared in the CMAT 2026 exam.

    Step 2: Now, write down the rank of the candidates in the QA section for all the candidates who appeared in the CMAT exam 2026.

    Step 3: Put the values in the formula given below.

    Total Percentile (TP1): 100 x (number of candidates who appeared in the session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score/total number of candidates who appeared in the session)

    Let’s assume 10000 candidates will give CMAT 2026, and a candidate secures rank 5. Candidate’s CMAT percentile will be calculated as follows:

    P = 10000-5/10000*100 = 99.95 percentile

    CMAT Score vs Percentile 2026: Marking Scheme

    Candidates who wish to calculate their CMAT score in relation to the percentile must be familiar with the CMAT 2026 marking scheme, as prescribed by the National Testing Agency. The CMAT score is the total marks scored by the candidates in five sections of the CMAT exam. Refer to the points below to calculate the CMAT score.

    • Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer.

    • 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

    • There will be no deduction for leaving the questions unanswered.

    • Total marks will be calculated based on the total number of questions answered.
