CAT Admit Card 2018 – IIM Calcutta will issue the admit card of CAT 2018 in the fourth week of October. CAT admit card 2018 will be available in online mode only for those candidates whose application form has been accepted by the examination authority. How to download CAT Admit Card 2018?
Candidates would need to follow the steps given below to download the admit card of CAT 2018:

Problems in downloading CAT Admit Card 2018
Candidates may face the following issues while downloading the CAT 2018 admit card/ hall ticket. Here are the solutions.
Forgetting login credentials – In case the candidates forget their login ID and password which were generated at the time of registration, they have to click on the ‘Forget Password’ tab. They will receive a link to reset the password to their registered email address. They have to visit the link and create a new password.

What to Carry along with CAT Admit Card 2018 on exam day?
Along with the admit card of CAT 2018, candidates will have to carry any of the following photo identity cards including
Voter ID Card
Photo ID issued by current education institute or employer among others.

Test takers should not sign in the space provided as the signature has to be made in presence of the invigilator

Candidates have to check the exam and exam centre reporting timing properly from the CAT 2018 admit card. For the first slot, they have to report by 7.30 AM and for the second slot, the timing is 1 PM. Beyond 8.45 AM and 2.15 PM, candidates will not be allowed to enter the test centre
Test takers will not be allowed to carry anything else apart from their CAT admit card 2018 and photo ID card. Rough sheets and pencils will be provided inside the exam hall

Q. If I do not get my Admit Card, whom should I contact?
A. Candidates can take the print out of the CAT 2018 admit card directly from the CAT website using their CAT registered User ID and Password. It will be available for download from the fourth week of October. The admit card will not be emailed personally to any candidate. If you are unable to view your Admit Card after logging in, contact the CAT Helpdesk:

Q. In case I forget to carry the admit card, will I be able to appear for the exam? Can I show the digital copy of the admit card?
A. No. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the test under any circumstances. Make sure that you carry the printed copy of the admit card of CAT 2018 on the exam day. Digital copy will not be accepted. Apart from Admit Card and ID proof, you’ll not be allowed to take anything inside the exam hall.
Q. Can I carry a photocopy of ID card?
A. No. Candidates must carry their original photo ID proof. A scanned copy or photocopy will not be accepted at the test centre.
Q. Can I change my preferred exam centre?
A. No. The exam centre should be chosen carefully while filling the application form. Candidates have to appear for the CAT at the exam centre mentioned on the CAT admit card 2018. No request to change the test centre will be accepted under any condition.
Q. What is Test System Number mentioned on the Admit Card of CAT 2018?
A. Test System Number, mentioned on the admit card, is to help the candidate identify the computer and floor at the examination centre. Candidates must not confuse the Test System Number with the registration number. Only Registration Number is to be used for communication with CAT centre.
Q. What do I need to do after downloading the Admit Card for CAT?
A. Candidates must verify all the details mentioned on the CAT 2018 admit card. If any error is found, they must rectify it immediately from the authority. It is recommended to print at least two copies of the CAT 2018 Admit Card.
CAT 2018 will be held on November 25, 2018 across around 140 exam centres in India. The exam pattern of CAT 2018 states that it will be a computer-based test of three hours carrying 100 objective type questions divided into three sections - Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.
