What details are Carried in CAT 2017 Admit Card/Hall Ticket
The admit card of CAT 2017 will carry the following information:
Name of the candidate
Date of birth of the candidate
CAT 2017 Registration Number and User ID
Candidate category – Whether the candidate belongs to General category or Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe or Differently Abled
Test Schedule – Date and slot of CAT 2017
Test venue – Exam centre name and address
Test system number
Test day instructions
Only those candidates who have completed the CAT 2017 application process by paying the application fee will be able to download the CAT admit card 2017.
Problem in downloading CAT Admit Card 2017

Forgetting login credentials – In case the candidates forget their login ID and password which were generated at the time of registration, they have to click on the ‘Forget Password’ tab. What to Carry along with CAT Admit Card 2017
Along with the admit card of CAT 2017, candidates have to carry any of the photo identity card including
Voter ID Card
Photo ID issued by current education institute or employer among others
Instructions for the Exam Day
The copy of CAT 2017 admit card should be clear and legible
Candidates have to paste passport size colour photograph in the space provided
Test takers should not sign in the space provided as the signature has to be made in presence of the invigilator
Test takers have to carry at least two copies of CAT 2017 admit card print out, of which, one copy has to be submitted to the invigilator
Candidates have to check the exam and exam centre reporting timing properly from the CAT 2017 Admit Card. For the first slot, they have to report by 7.30 AM and for the second slot, the timing is 1 PM. Beyond 8.45 AM and 2.15 PM, candidates will not be allowed to enter the test centre
Test takers will not be allowed to carry anything else apart from their CAT Admit Card 2017 and photo ID card. Rough sheets and pencils will be provided at the exam hall
The CAT 2017 admit card will not only be required till the exam day but till the entire admission process is concluded.

Q. If I do not get my Admit Card, whom should I contact?
A. Candidates can take the print out of the CAT 2017 admit card directly from the CAT website using their User ID and Password. It is available for printout starting October 25, 2017. The admit card will not be emailed personally to any candidate. If you are unable to view your Admit Card after logging in, contact the CAT Helpdesk:

Q. Can I carry a photocopy of ID card?
A. No. Candidates must their original photo ID proof. A scanned copy or photocopy will not be accepted at the test centre.
Q. Can I change my preferred exam centre?
A. No. The exam centre should be chosen carefully during the application process. Candidates have to appear for the CAT at the exam centre mentioned on the CAT admit card 2017. No request to change the test centre will be accepted under any condition.
Q. What is Test System Number mentioned on the Admit Card of CAT 2017?
A. Test System Number, mentioned on the admit card, is to help the candidate identify the computer and floor at the examination centre. Candidates must not confuse the Test System Number with the registration number. Only Registration Number is to be used for communication with CAT centre.
Q. What do I need to do after downloading the Admit Card for CAT?
A. Candidates must check and verify all the details mentioned on the CAT 2017 admit card. If any error is found, they must rectify it immediately from the authority. It is recommended to print at least two copies of the CAT 2017 Admit Card.
CAT 2017 will be held on November 26 across 140 exam centres in India. The exam pattern of CAT 2017 states that it is a computer-based test of three hours duration carrying 100 objective type questions from Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability sections.
