MAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) 2018 is the state level MBA entrance examination for the various management institutes in Maharashtra only. According to the exam pattern of MAH CET 2018, the test is divided into sections namely, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Ability. The body that conducts the MAH CET examination, DTE (The Directorate of Technical Education) Maharashtra, does not provide any official syllabus for MAH CET. According to important dates of MAH CET 2018, the examination will be held on March 10 and 11, 2018 in computer based mode. The MAH CET exam pattern comprises of 200 multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs) with five options for each question. The total duration of the Computer Based Test MAH CET is 150 minutes. Before running through the MAH CET 2018 syllabus, one needs to know the exam structure of MAH MBA/MMS CET 2018.

Points to Remember

  •  The total duration of MAH CET 2018 exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

  • The medium of instruction and the questions in the MAH CET 2018 examination paper will be in English.

  • During the 150 minutes of MAH CET exam, one can attempt any question at any point in time.

  • There will only be one correct answer out of the five options given.

  •  Candidates need to click on the option, which they think is the most appropriate for the given question.

  • There is no negative marking for any of the questions.

Observing the previous trends, the difficulty level of MAH CET 2018 can be expected to be between easy to moderate.


The notification for MAH CET 2018 including the MAH CET other important dates will be released tentatively in the third week of January 2018. Aspirants fulfilling the MAH CET eligibility criteria can fill the application form of MAH CET 2018 after it’s released. After the test gets conducted in March, the scores will be accepted by more than 400 participating B-schools in the state of Maharashtra. The MAH CET 2018 result will be declared during the third week of March 2018. Last year statistics confirmed that around 90,000 candidates who took the test out of 94,500 applicants.
