The selection criteria for the SC and ST category candidates comprise a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds to allocate seats to candidates. SC and ST category candidates as per their place in the merit list for different CAP rounds will be allotted seats accordingly. SC and ST category candidates will have the alternative to proceed with the admission process for the allocated seat or vacate it for the next CAP rounds.
The candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC and ST along with other minorities (linguistic or religious) need an aggregate of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Bachelor’s. The Bachelor’s degree must be from a UGC-recognized college.
The marks required for the SC category in MAH CET 2025 vary from college to college. For a rough estimation, the colleges have a range of 60 to 90 percentile for admitting SC and ST candidates for PGDM courses.
A 90 percentile in the MAH CET 2025 exam can be considered good enough for SC category candidates. It can even get the candidate into some of the best MAH CET-accepting colleges in Maharashtra.
The Scheduled Caste (SC) category has been given a reservation of 13% seats in MAH CET. On the other hand, the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category is given a reservation of a total of 7% seats in MAH CET.
