XLRI will open the official XAT mock test window in online mode. Candidates will access the XAT mocks free at xatonline.in. The XAT free mock test is similar to the actual exam and hence, candidates can use it to practice for the XAT exam to be held in January 2025. The XAT mock test 2025 is only available for registered and eligible candidates. The login credentials for the XAT mock test are sent to registered candidates. XAT Mock Test 2025: Overview
The XAT 2025 mock test portal link will be enabled in the candidate's dashboard after submitting the application. To allow candidates to get familiar with XAT 2025, the official XAT mock test by XLRI is a replica of the actual XAT question paper though the questions asked will differ. Candidates can access the XAT free mock tests via their login credentials.
The syllabus for the XAT mock test is the same as the XAT 2025 syllabus. With a few months left, candidates must attempt as many XAT mock tests to analyse their readiness for the actual exam.

XAT 2025 Mock Test - Question Paper Format
- XAT mock test paper will have 5 sections - Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision-making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Essay Writing.
- The XAT mock test is also for 3 hours and 30 minutes
- Total number of questions for all sections (minus essay writing) will be 101. Essay writing will have 1 question to be answered in 250 words
- Marks awarded for every correct answer is +1.
- Negative marks awarded for every incorrect answer is -0.25.
- Negative marks awarded for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions is -0.10.
- General Knowledge section had no negative marking
- Scores of the essay will be considered only if the candidate is shortlisted for GD and PI.

Seeing your marks, it is evident you are good in academics. Thus, you can get into a good MBA college but mind you, it won't be easy because there are thousands of students who are as good as you, if not better. MBA colleges do not choose candidates solely based on academic performance, although it has a big weightage in their selection process. They test your presence of mind, intellect, and communication skills through Group Discussions and Interviews.
The safest way to get into a good MBA college is to score 96-97+ percentile and do really well in GD and PI. Top MBA colleges in India are IIMs, XISS (Ranchi), TISS, Delhi School of Business, and Symbiosis.
