APICET Result 2020- Sri Venkateswara University, the conducting body of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test will declare the result of APICET 2020 during the second week of May 2020. The APICET result 2020 will be available on the website of Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher education. Candidates can download the scorecard along with the APICET 2020 result by logging through the credentials which were generated at the time of the examination. APICET is scheduled to be held during the second week of May 2020. After the conduction of the exam, the result of APICET 2020 will be declared within two weeks. Candidates can download the APICET result 2020 from the official website of APICET by logging, using their credentials which they had got at the time of registration. Candidate can download the scorecard by following the steps that are given below:
Visit the official website of APICET (Andhra Pradesh Council of higher Education)
Click on the “result” tab on the homepage
Enter your login credentials which are “hall ticket number” and “registration number” which will be mentioned on admit card.
AP ICET 2020 Result will appear on screen

The result of APICET 2020 will be available in the form of scorecard. The scorecard for APICET 2020 result will contain the following information:
Candidate name
Roll Number
Marks obtained in the examination
Result Status
Candidates having any doubt or any query regarding their result can apply for re-evaluation by simply submitting an application costing Rs 1000. Candidate can apply for re-evaluation within 15 days after the announcement of the APICET result 2020. The fee can be submitted in the form of Demand Draft which is payable at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam or any nationalised bank.
The minimum marks which the candidates must score and become eligible to participate in the next round of the selection process. he qualifying marks for different categories will likely be determined by the authorities. In the past, the qualifying marks were 25% i.e. 50 marks out of 200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, there are no qualifying marks.
How to determine rank in case of a Tie Breaker
In case more than one student score the same marks, there is a situation of tiebreaker. A tiebreaker is used to determine the rank of the candidates.
Section A: If two or more candidates score the same marks, the one who scores more marks in section A will be ranked higher in the merit list.
Section B: In case the candidates score the same marks in section A, the one who scores more marks in section B will be ranked higher in the merit list.
The cutoff of APICET 2020 is minimum marks which the candidates need to score to be eligible to participate in counselling. Cutoff and qualifying marks are two different things, cutoff is released for different colleges for their admission process while qualifying marks are minimum in order to be considered eligible for the counselling. Cutoff depends on a number of various factors like number of seats, candidates appearing in the examination, past years cutoff trends and total number of seats.
The normalisation process for APICET 2020 aims at rationalisation of the score in the best possible way so as the ensure that candidates are accorded rank in a fair manner since candidates appear in different slots for the exam. The normalization process of APICET 2020 consists of the following steps:
SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to.
GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together.
Top Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1 percent of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to.
Top Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1 percent of all the candidates across all sessions together.
Candidates who have qualified for APICET 2020 will be called for counselling based on the marks obtained by them in the examination. Counseling is expected to be held during the month of August 2020. The various steps in counselling are mentioned below:

For APICET 2019 Exam, candidates who have completed their graduation fulfilling the eligibility in terms of aggregate and all, as well as those in the final years were eligible to apply for this exams. Following this norm, the same rule should be applied in 2020 unless specified otherwise by authorities.
Eligibility Criteria for APICET 2019-
Candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with a minimum of 3 years or its equivalent, with mathematics as one of the subject in Class 12th and a minimum of 50% in graduation level,For SC/ST/reserved category, it's only 45% in graduation leve l
Candidates in the final year of their graduation or are appearing for the final exams are also eligible for APICET. There's no age bar.
APICET M.B.A Eligibility Criteria-
OC candidates have to secure 50% aggregate to be eligible for the counselling stage.For SC and ST candidates, they need to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in degree and APICET 2019 to qualify for the counselling.
