AP ICET Result 2020- Sri Venkateswara University, the conducting body of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test will declare the result of AP ICET 2020. The AP ICET result 2020 will be available on the website of Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher education. Candidates can download the scorecard along with the AP ICET 2020 result by logging through the credentials which were generated at the time of the examination. AP ICET will be held in online mode for which date will be notified soon. Earlier it was scheduled to be held on April 27. After the conduction of the exam, the result of AP ICET 2020 will be declared in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the AP ICET result 2020 from the official website of AP ICET by logging, using their credentials which they had got at the time of registration. Candidate can download the scorecard by following the steps that are given below:
Visit the official website of AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education)
Click on the “result” tab on the homepage
Enter your login credentials which are “hall ticket number” and “registration number” which will be mentioned on admit card.
AP ICET 2020 Result will appear on screen
Download the result and take a print out for future reference.

The result of AP ICET 2020 will be available in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard for AP ICET 2020 result will contain the following information:
Marks obtained in the examination
Candidates having any doubt or any query regarding their result can apply for re-evaluation by simply submitting an application costing Rs 1000. Candidate can apply for re-evaluation within 15 days after the announcement of the AP ICET result 2020. The fee can be submitted in the form of Demand Draft which is payable at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam or any nationalised bank. AP ICET 2020 exam date will be announced shortly.
The minimum marks which the candidates must score and become eligible to participate in the next round of the selection process. he qualifying marks for different categories will likely be determined by the authorities. In the past, the qualifying marks were 25% i.e. 50 marks out of 200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, there are no qualifying marks.
How to determine rank in case of a Tie Breaker
In case more than one student score the same marks, there is a situation of the tiebreaker. A tiebreaker is used to determine the rank of the candidates.
Section A: If two or more candidates score the same marks, the one who scores more marks in section A will be ranked higher in the merit list.
Section B: In case the candidates score the same marks in section A, the one who scores more marks in section B will be ranked higher in the merit list.
The cutoff of AP ICET 2020 is minimum marks which the candidates need to score to be eligible to participate in counselling. Cutoff and qualifying marks are two different things, cutoff is released for different colleges for their admission process while qualifying marks are minimum in order to be considered eligible for the counselling. Cutoff depends on a number of various factors like number of seats, candidates appearing in the examination, past years cutoff trends and total number of seats.
What is NormalizationNormalization can be defined as a process to ensure that the students will neither be advantaged or disadvantaged by the differences in the difficulty levels of the exams in the different sessions. In this process, the marks of the easier session may be reduced or the marks in the difficult session can be increased based marginally on the global level which depends on the average performance of each session. If there is no difference in the normalized marks then there won’t be much difference in the normalized marks of the candidates.
AP ICET 2020 Normalization ProcessThe main aim of the normalization of AP ICET score is to justify the candidates who got the difficulty level of the paper. The normalization process for AP ICET 2020 aims at rationalization of the score in the best possible way so as the ensure that candidates are accorded rank in a fair manner since candidates appear in different slots for the exam. The normalization process of AP ICET 2020 consists of the following steps:
SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to.
GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together.
Top Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1 percent of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to.
Top Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1 percent of all the candidates across all sessions together.
Candidates who have qualified for AP ICET 2020 will be called for counselling based on the marks obtained by them in the examination. Counselling is expected to be held post result declaration. The various steps in counselling are mentioned below:

APICET is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education.
The result of APICET 2020 will be declared on May 7.
The minimum qualifying marks of APICET 2020 are 25% of the total marks. However, the cutoff marks in order to appear for counselling is different for respective b-school and will be decided after the declaration of APICET result.

The syllabus includes questions from Analytical Ability, Communication Ability, Mathematical Ability. There will be 200 questions in total and each question carries one mark.In Mathematical Ability section there will be questions from Arithmetical ability, Statistical ability ,Geometrical and Algebraic ability.In Communication ability section the questions will be based on vocabulary, reading comprehension, functional grammar, business and computer terminology.In analytical ability section the important topics include sequence and series, venn diagram, bar graphs, data analysis, seating arrangement.
