AP ICET Marks vs Rank Analysis 2026: Fast Facts

• Candidates are required to secure a decent rank in AP ICET 2026 to guarantee their MBA admission at their chosen MBA college.

AP ICET Rank vs Marks 2026 - Qualifying criteria

Last year, the total marks forthe AP ICET exam were 200. Candidates belonging to the general category need to secure at least 25% marks, that is, 50 marks out of 200 in the AP ICET. There will be no AP ICET qualifying marks criteria for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories. While finalising AP ICET rank, authorities also applied a tie-breaker policy if two or more candidates obtained the same marks in AP ICET. The AP ICET tie-breaking criteria are as follows:

• Preference will be given to such candidates who have more marks in Section A
• If a tie persists, then Section B marks will be acknowledged
• In case if tie persists then age will be determined, and the older one will be prioritised

AP ICET Cutoff 2026

Only those who qualify the required AP ICET cutoff will be eligible to take part in the AP ICET counselling process. In order to be eligible for AP ICET counselling, 25% of the maximum marks in the AP ICET exam is required. Furthermore, every AP ICET participating college specifies its own cutoff criteria for MBA admission. While preparing AP ICET required cutoff, colleges consider certain factors such as a number of candidates who appeared in AP ICET exam, the difficulty level of AP ICET exam, availability of seats etc.
