AP ICET Rank vs Marks 2025- Qualifying criteria
Last year the total marks for AP ICET exam was 200. Candidates belonging to the general category need to secure at least 25% marks, that is, 50 marks out of 200 in the AP ICET. There will be no AP ICET qualifying marks criteria for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. While finalizing AP ICET rank, authorities also applied a tie-breaker policy if two or more candidates obtained the same marks in AP ICET. The AP ICET tie breaking criteria are as follows:
- Preference will be given to such candidates who have more marks in Section A
- If tie still persist than Section B marks will be acknowledged
- In case if tie still persist then age of will be determined and older one will be prioritized
AP ICET Cutoff 2025
Only thos who qualify the required AP ICET cutoff will be eligible to take part in the AP ICET counselling process. In order to be eligible for AP ICET counselling, 25% of the maximum marks in the AP ICET exam is required. Furthermore, every AP ICET participating college specifies its own cutoff criteria for MBA admission. While preparing AP ICET required cutoff, colleges consider certain factors such as number of candidates appeared in AP ICET exam, difficulty level of AP ICET exam, availability of seats etc.
The AP ICET 2025 cutoff will be released by various colleges rank-wise. Those who fit in the required Andhra Pradesh ICET cutoff will be considered for admission at the particular college. Here we have listed category-wise expected cutoff for the AP ICET exam 2025.

APSCHE will announce AP ICET exam result probably in the last week of May in online mode. The AP ICET rank card will be available on the official website. AP ICET Merit List 2025
APSCHE will prepare AP ICET merit list on the basis of candidates AP ICET exam. Candidates will be able to check their AP ICET rank in the released merit list. Registered candidates can access Andhra Pradesh ICET merit list on the official website. If a candidate found their name in the AP ICET merit list then they will have to appear for the next round of admission process.
AP ICET Counselling 2025
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will conduct AP ICET counselling for shortlisted candidates, probably in September 2025. After AP ICET counselling registration, authorities will release AP ICET first allotment order. Candidates can check the same by visiting the AP ICET official website.

Unfortunately, with a rank of 2204 in AP ICET, it's unlikely that you can secure a seat in JNTU Vizianagaram. JNTU Vizianagaram is a popular choice among AP ICET candidates, leading to high competition for seats. The cutoff ranks for JNTU Vizianagaram are generally much lower than 2204.
While JNTU Vizianagaram might not be feasible, you can explore other options:
- Other JNTU Campuses: Consider other JNTU campuses like Kakinada, Anantapur, or Hyderabad.
