The general (OC) candidates need to score a minimum of 25 % of the total marks, that is 50 out of 200, to clear the AP ICET 2025. However, that is the AP ICET qualifying marks for the OC category students. The candidates need to get higher AP ICET ranks to make it into the APICET colleges. While there is a specific AP ICET qualifying mark for open category students, there are no such provisions for the AP ICET BC category students.

For the general category candidates to qualify for the ICET in AP 50 out of 200 marks are needed. On the other hand, there are no qualifying marks for the BC category students.

If you want to resume your MCA after discontinuation, you generally cannot use your AP ICET 2023 rank for counseling in 2024. AP ICET ranks are valid only for the academic year in which they are obtained. To reapply for MCA in the upcoming academic year, you will likely need to take the AP ICET exam again to qualify for counseling and secure admission.
