XAT Registration 2019 - XLRI, Jamshedpur will start the XAT 2019 registration from the second week of August 2018. Candidates can register for XAT 2019 to fill the application form online only. The conducting body of the exam will allow the filling of XAT 2019 application form till the last week of November (without late fee) and mid of December (with late fee). The application form is divided into three parts- XAT registration, filling up the form with requisite details and paying the application fee. Candidates who successfully fill the XAT application form 2019 along with the application fee would be able to download the admit card. The application fee for XAT 2019 is Rs. 1650 for all categories and Rs. 2000 for late application. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI for admission to more than 150 B-schools in the country. Around 90,000 students appear for the exam every year. Before filling the application form, aspirants must check the XAT eligibility criteria which are described by the pointers below:
Candidates should be graduates (minimum 3 years) in any discipline from a recognised institute or university.
Final year students are also eligible to apply provided they complete the course by June 2018.
NRI and foreign candidates have to apply through GMAT scores. However, candidates who belong to Dubai and Kathmandu may appear for XAT as the exam will be held in these cities.

How to pay XAT 2019 Application form fee?
Applicants can choose one of the following modes of payment to pay the XAT application fee.
1. Online payment gateway
Credit/Debit Card – Candidates can pay XAT application form fee through Visa/Master Card
Net Banking – Only IDBI account holders are eligible for this mode of payment.
2. Cash payment – Applicants have to take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip and visit any IDBI bank branch to make the payment through cash
3. Demand Draft (DD) – The Demand Draft has to be made in favour of “XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT” payable at Jamshedpur.’
Candidates who pay XAT 2019 application form fee through second and third mode should update the payment details on the XAT registration page. In case of failure to do the same, those candidates will not be allowed to upload their photograph and signature.
Documents to keep handy before XAT Registration 2019
Candidates should keep the following documents ready before starting XAT 2019 application form filling process.
Prerequisites for XAT Registration
Class X, Class XII, Graduation and Masters degree (if applicable)
Candidates have to select a recent passport size colour photograph in .jpeg format. The file size should be between 20 KB - 50 KB and dimensions should be 200 x 230 pixels. The picture should have been taken in light or white background. The face should be clear in the photograph otherwise the application may get rejected. The size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB.
Applicants’ signature should be made on a white paper with a black ink pen. It should be scanned in 200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution and the file size should be between 10 KB - 20 KB.

Click on the ‘Register’ tab and create a new account using your personal email id, wherein you will receive XAT ID and registration link
Click on the XAT registration link to create XAT login password. Candidates must preserve the XAT ID and password for logging in to their XAT 2019 account
After logging in to XAT 2019 account, applicants have to choose the preferred exam city from the list of exam cities
Now, the next step is to enter name, upload photograph and signature and save it
Select citizenship from options like Indian, Foreign and NRI
Choose Programme among Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM) and General Management Programme (GMP). This is an optional step and can be skipped in case you are not applying for XLRI
Fill Preliminary and mandatory information such as name, date of birth, gender, parents’ name, category and contact details
Enter educational qualification starting from Class X till the highest degree received
Provide details of work experience starting from the latest job. Candidates applying for XLRI GMP programme must have minimum five years experience as on May 31, 2019
Next step is to pay the fee of Rs. 1650 with Rs. 300 per XLRI programme and Rs. 2000 (in case of late application with Rs. 500 per XLRI programme) through any of the above-mentioned modes

After the completion of registration process, candidates downloaded the XAT admit card 2019, from the third week of December 2018. Approximately 90,000 candidates appear for the exam every year.
