AP ICET Counselling 2018 –The counselling of AP ICET 2018 will be conducted on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. The AP ICET counselling 2018 is expected to commence in the first week of June 2018 after the declaration of exam result and cutoff. The AP ICET result 2018 has been declared on May 12, 2018. AP ICET Counselling Process 2018
Following steps are involved in the AP ICET 2018 counselling process:
Firstly, all the shortlisted candidates have to report the help centres for document verification.
Based on the preferences entered by candidates and availability of seats and merit, suitable seats will be allotted to admit students.
Candidates allotted seats will have to pay the requisite fee and report to the college allotted to them.
Eligibility Criteria for AP ICET Counselling 2018
The counselling of AP ICET 2018 requires the following eligibility criteria to be met before candidates are called for the seat allotment procedure:
Candidates securing 50 percent aggregate (in case of OC category) are eligible for counselling stage.
Those belonging to SC and ST categories have to score at least 45 percent aggregate in degree and AP ICET 2018 to qualify for the counselling.
This year too, the above-mentioned criteria are likely to remain the same.
Certificates/Documents Required for AP ICET 2018 Counselling
Candidates appearing for the counselling rounds of AP ICET 2018 have to carry two sets of photocopies along with the originals of the following listed documents for verification purposes:

Income Certificate issued
Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority
Aadhar Card (Xerox will be returned after verification)
Processing Fee: Rs. 1200 for OC/BC and Rs. 600 for SC/ST to be paid by the candidate online visiting official AP ICET website before attending certificates verification
Processing fee can be paid by the candidate using credit card/ debit card/ through net banking
Visit the official website of AP ICET and click on processing fee payment online
Enter AP ICET Hall Ticket number & rank and click on pay fee online
Candidates will be directed to payment gateway
Select any one mode of payment i.e. credit card/ debit card/ net banking and enter credentials
Once the payment is success, click on 'print' button. Take a print out and produce at the time of certificate verification
Candidates shall note that they shall have paid the processing fee when candidates attend for verification of certificate as per the schedule and ranks mentioned against each date. i.e. the processing fee should be paid online by the candidates before they attend verification of certificates
The allotted seats will be declared around the beginning of July 2018.
Candidates can access the full schedule by entering their registration number, followed by the hall ticket number, their password and date of birth in the login section.
The prescribed fees for the counselling and admission has to be paid by candidates by filling the challan form which can be downloaded along with the seat allotment order as specified above.
Once the fee payment procedure has been completed, candidates are required to report to the allotted college on the date mentioned in the allotment order, failing which they will lose any claim on the seat allotted to them.
AP ICET Counselling 2018 – Important Instructions For Seat Allotment Procedure
Process of participating in the subsequent phases of AP ICET 2018 Counselling
If candidates have not participated in previous phases of counselling, then they can participate as a fresh candidate by attending certificate/document verification at one of the help centres.
If no seat is allotted in the previous phase of AP ICET counselling, candidates can participate in the next phase.
If a seat is allotted and candidates have not accepted the joining then the allotted seat will be cancelled and will be treated as a vacancy to be filled later. Candidates can participate in the counselling but are eligible to join new college allotted in the second phase and cannot claim for the previous allotment.
If a candidate has paid the fee, accepted the joining and reported at the allotted college, they can still participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling. If a seat is allotted as per new option, then the first allotment will be cancelled and candidates will be moved to the new allotted college.
AP ICET Counselling 2018 - Process of cancellation of seat
If candidates want to withdraw or cancel the allotted seat, at the end of the Counselling process, they can do so before a stipulated date. For this, candidates have to approach the Convener in person or by registered post and have to submit the following documents-
Duly filled in application for cancellation of allotted seat
Original receipt of certificates issued at the time of certificate verification at helpline centre
Latest provisional allotment order
Receipt of fee payment
Request letter for cancellation of allotted seat by the candidate.
