According to the IPMAT exam pattern 2018, the exam was conducted in computer-based mode. The total duration of the exam was 2 hours and the total number of questions was 100. There were 3 sections, Quantitative Aptitude-MCQ, Quantitative Aptitude-SA and Verbal Ability-MCQ. Each question carries 4 marks and there is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.
Approximately 18,000 applicants are expected to have appeared for IPMAT 2018. The number of intakes would be around 120. The ratio of candidates to be shortlisted for the selection procedure of IPMAT 2018 is 1:10.
As per the IPMAT 2018 important dates, the final merit list will be declared by June end and the programme will commence from August first week.
