IPMAT Cutoff 2018 - Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has announced IPMAT 2018 cutoff after the final IPMAT result. The result of IPMAT that was conducted on May 11 has been declared on May 28. Candidates can log in with their credentials to know if they have qualified for the further selection rounds of WAT and PI. The cutoff of IPMAT 2018 refers to the minimum marks to be scored by test takers in order to qualify or get shortlisted for the further rounds of the selection procedure. As per the exam schedule, IPMAT exam was held on May 11, 2018. The shortlisted students will then have to appear for Personal Interviews at IIM Indore. The total seat intake for the programme is only 120. After this, the final merit list will be declared around the second week of June 2018. Until the officials announce IPMAT cutoff 2018, candidates can check the previous year’s IPMAT cutoff to get an estimate. Factors Influencing the IPMAT Cutoff 2018

 

Candidates must know the factors taken into consideration while preparing the IPMAT 2018 cutoff in order to better assess their chances of qualifying for the counselling. The factors are listed below:

According to IIM Indore, 17,716 applicants were called for the Aptitude test of IPM on May 11 out of which 15,901 attended the exam of IPMAT 2018 on May 11. IIM Indore also listed that the number of candidates who secured positive raw score (greater than or equal to 1) in all three sections was 11,454. These are the candidates who will be called for the further rounds of  selection procedure of IPMAT 2018  comprising of WAT and PI.

As the exam is divided into two sections -  Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability, the below-given table explains the sectional cutoff of last year.

According to the IPMAT exam pattern 2018, the exam was conducted in computer-based mode. The total duration of the exam was 2 hours and the total number of questions was 100. There were 3 sections, Quantitative Aptitude-MCQ, Quantitative Aptitude-SA and Verbal Ability-MCQ. Each question carries 4 marks and there is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

As per the IPMAT 2018 important dates, the final merit list will be declared by June end and the programme will commence from August first week.
