IIM Indore will conduct the IPMAT 2019 on May 10 across 28 cities in India. The IPMAT exam is conducted for admission to IIM Indore’s 5-year IPM course. As per the exam pattern of IPMAT 2019, the exam was divided into two sections - Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability. The below-given table explains the sectional cutoff of last year.

According to IIM Indore, around 17,700 applied for the exam and around 15,900 appeared for it.
The competition is certainly high as there are only 120 seats for the programme. On the basis of the cutoff, IIM Indore will shortlist the candidates for PI round. Overall performance in the test and PI will be considered for the final selection. As per the IPMAT 2019 important dates, the exam concluded on May 10 and the result of IPMAT 2019 has been declared on May 17. The final merit list will be declared in the month of June 2019 and the programme will commence from the first week of August 2019.

As known that for admission into IIM's IPM one has to go through A.T and a personal interview.
The Aptitude test consists of 2 parts. One that of quantitative aptitude and other being the verbal ability. For quantitative aptitute one can refer to the book Qbjective Arithmetic of R.S. Aggarwal, though this book is meant for the entrances of railway and other similar things but since the syllabus is quite the same so this book is helpful as well. Apart from this one has to completely solve NCERT Maths book for class XI and XII. As chapters like P&C, Binomial Theorem, Complex Number, Functions and Calculus are also included for the test.
For the verbal ability thing any good English book like that of Wren n Martin, Nesfield, R.S Aggarwal's verbal ability is good.
The Arihant Publications guide is a good book as well which combines the Objective Arithmetic and Verbal ability in one but I think that one has to completely solve class XI and XII NCERT of Maths as well.
For the interview thing one has to be aware of all the General Knowledge thing. Reading newspaper , magazines is always helpful. One has to look upon his body language as well. Co curricular activities are always helpful.

IPMAT Exam is divided into following sections-
Quantitative Ability(MCQ) - 40 questions
Verbal Ability - 40 questions
Quantitative Ability(SA) - 20 questions
As per the marking scheme of IPMAT 2019, each question will carry four marks. Every correct answer will get 4 marks.
As the exam has negative marking, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Negative marking will not be applicable for Quantitative Ability- SA section.
