JIPMAT Application Form 2026- Who can apply?

• Candidates should have completed their 10+2/ HSC examination/ XII in any stream, i.e. arts/ science/ commerce or equivalent, with 60% marks in total aggregate (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD) or more in the year 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2026. Candidates must have passed their class 10th examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD) or more in the year not before 2020.
  
  
• The percentage of marks secured by the candidates in classes 10th and 12th would be calculated based on the board's regulations. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the mark sheet should be considered for calculating the passing percentage.

How to fill the JIPMAT application form 2026?

While filling out the JIPMAT 2026 application form, candidates can refer to the step-by-step procedure provided below.

Steps to Fill JIPMAT Application Form

Part 1- JIPMAT Registration 2026

While registering for JIPMAT 2026, fill in all the basic information and note down the system-generated JIPMAT application number.

• Candidate’s name/ Father’s name/ Mother’s name

Provide the candidate's name, father's name, and mother's name as given in the secondary school examination or its equivalent board/ university certificate in capital letters. No prefix in the name of the candidate is allowed.

• Date of Birth - DD/MM/YYYY

Provide the date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Examination or its equivalent board/ university certificate.

• Mobile number and email address

Candidates will have to provide a valid email address and mobile number.

• Enter a complete postal address with PIN code (Correspondence address as well as permanent address) for further correspondence. PIN code of the correspondence address should be given in the space provided for this purpose.

Note- Only one email ID and mobile number are valid for one application.

Part 2- Fill in the complete JIPMAT 2026 application form

Now candidates will have to enter all the details asked in the JIPMAT application form.

Note-

• Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non-creamy layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes (OBC) available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Candidates falling in the list may mention OBC in the Category column. State list OBC candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose OBC-NCL.
  
  
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS)- This provision would be regulated as per the notice issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Choice of cities for the JIPMAT examination centre- It is mandatory for candidates who are going to apply for JIPMAT 2026 or while filling the application form to select four cities of their choice. Efforts will be made to allot the centre of the JIPMAT exam to the candidates in order of the city choice opted by candidates in their JIPMAT 2026 application form. However, because of administrative reasons, different cities in nearby areas may be allotted.

Part 3- Uploading of scanned images

• Candidate's photograph: to be uploaded

  • Passport-sized photographs should not be with goggles or caps. Photographs should cover 80% of the face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.

  • Specs are allowed if being used regularly.

  • Computer-generated and Polaroid photos are not acceptable.

  • JIPMAT applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.

  • Candidates may note that if it is found that the uploaded photograph is de-shaped or fabricated or seems to be hand-made or computer-made, then in such a case the JIPMAT application form of the candidate will be rejected, and it will be treated as using unfair means, and such candidates would be dealt with accordingly.

  • An application without a photograph will be rejected. The passport-sized photograph needs to be attested. Candidates are also advised to take 6 to 8 passport-sized photographs with a white background.

Note- Passport-size photograph is to be used for uploading on the JIPMAT online application form and also pasting the same on the attendance sheet at the JIPMAT examination centre.

• The candidates should scan their passport-sized photographs for uploading. The file size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB.

• The candidates are required to upload their signature in running handwriting in the appropriate box given in the online JIPMAT 2026 application form. Writing your full name in the prescribed box in capital letters would not be accepted as a signature, and the online application form would be rejected. An unsigned JIPMAT 2026 application form will also be rejected.

  • Candidates should put their signature on white paper with a Black/ Blue pen and scan it for uploading.

  • File size should be 4 KB to 30 KB

• Category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable) to be uploaded.

  • Category certificate and PwD certificate (file size 50 KB to 300 KB)

Note- Candidates must ensure that the uploaded images are proper and clear.

Part 4- Pay JIPMAT 2026 application fee

Pay the JIPMAT application fee using an SBI/ HDFC Bank/ Debit card/ Credit card/ Paytm Payment Gateway through Net Banking/ UPI/ Wallet, and keep proof of fee paid for future use.

JIPMAT Application Form 2026: Documents Required

Candidates are required to keep the following information and documents ready with them while filling out the JIPMAT 2026 application form.

• A valid Email ID and mobile number
• Class 10th board certificate for birth proof
• Government ID card, such as Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/ Election ID card/ Ration card number/ Passport number/ PAN card/ Bank account number
• Educational qualification details
• A scanned passport-size photograph (in jpg/ jpeg format, size 10KB to 200KB)- either in colour or black & white, with 80% face (without mask), and ears should be visible.
• Candidates scanned signature (file size 4KB to 30KB)
• PwD certificate (file size 50 KB to 300 KB) (If needed)
• Credit/ debit card or net banking details or UPI/ Wallet details

JIPMAT Application Form Correction Window 2026

JIPMAT 2026 application form correction window will open from May 12-14, 2026. At the time of the JIPMAT 2026 application form correction window, candidates can edit certain details such as name, contact details, address, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, choice of exam cities, date of birth, etc. Any request for a change in such particulars will not be entertained by NTA after the closing of the correction window.

The candidates who want to make corrections in a particular field from the submitted JIPMAT application form will have to follow the process below.

• STEP 1: Go to the official website of NTA JIPMAT 2026.
• STEP 2: Find and click the "JIPMAT 2026 Edit Correction Window" link at the bottom of the page.
• STEP 3: Next, enter your application number, password, and security code.
• STEP 4: From the dashboard, open the submitted JIPMAT 2026 application form and correct the field that you want.
• STEP 5: Finally, submit the edited application form for JIPMAT 2026.

NOTE: Once you submit, you cannot edit again. So it was important to make sure that before submitting the application form, all the details entered were correct or not.
