JIPMAT seats are allocated based on the performance of the candidates in the JIPMAT exam. The NTA conducts the JIPMAT exam for admission to the 5 year Joint Integrated Program in Management offered by the Indian Institute of Management Jammu and the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. Both the IIMs offer a total of 260 JIPMAT seats. The number of seats available for IIM Jammu IPM admission 2025-30 is 140 and for IIM Bodh Gaya it is 120. Both the IIMs accept the JIPMAT scores for the selection process.

The eligibility criteria for JIPMAT seats are given below
Candidates should have passed the Class 12/XII/HSC examination in any stream with 60% or equivalent CGPA (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD). The students must have passed the class 10 examination with 60% or equivalent CGPA (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD).
The students who appear in Class 12 in the given year can also apply for the JIPMAT 2025.
There is no prescribed age limit for appearing for the JIPMAT exam.
Both the IIMs have an equal number of JIPMAT seats for their IPM programs. IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya accept the JIPMAT score for IPM admissions. The college-wise seats for different colleges accepting the JIPMAT results for their IPM programs are given below.

JIPMAT seats have reservation quotas prescribed by the government for different backward sections of society. The breakdown of JIPMAT seats for different categories according to the reservation criteria established by the authorities is given in the table below.

The selection process for JIPMAT seats consists of shortlisting the candidates based on the JIPMAT cutoff. The candidates having a par JIPMAT score with the JIPMAT cutoff score will be shortlisted for further selection rounds of Group Discussion (GD), Written Aptitude Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection will be made through a final merit list based on the overall profile and performance of the candidates in the selection process. IIM Jammu has 140 JIPMAT seats for its 5-year Integrated Program in Management. The course is for candidates who wish to pursue a career in the field of business management and administration after 12th.
The 12th and 10th standard marks are very important in the JIPMAT for selection. Both the scores of the 10th and 12th standards are given a weightage of 15% in the selection process of the JIPMAT seats at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.
A good score for JIPMAT can be considered above 350 (raw score before any normalization) for the candidates belonging to the General category. For SC a good score can be regarded as above 250. For ST candidates a score above 200 can be considered good enough.
IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya accept the JIPMAT score for its IPM courses (3-year BBA and 2-year MBA). Other IIMs such as IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Rohtak offering IPM programs do not accept the JIPMAT score.

To apply for JIPMAT 2022 a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream with minimum 60% if the candidate belongs to general category or minimum 55% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. The candidate must have passed the class 10 examination with minimum 60% marks if he/she belongs to general category or minimum 55% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category in the year not before 2018.
As you are saying that you are currently in class 12th and you will appear for class 12th examination in the year 2023 you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria so you cannot apply for JIPMAT 2022 but you can apply for JIPMAT 2023 if you fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria. There is no age limit for appearing for the JIPMAT.

JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam being conducted for the first time by NTA i.e. the National Testing Agency to admit students in the newly introduced IPM program by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. As per the JIPMAT eligibility criteria 2021, candidates must have,
