    About JIPMAT 2026

    Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) will be held tentatively in the last week of May 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the registration process for the JIPMAT Exam 2026 in the first week of April 2026. JIMAT 2026 application form will be available on the official website- exams.nta.ac.in/JIPMAT. Candidates can apply for the JIPMAT exam in online mode at jipmat.nta.ac.in. The JIPMAT exam will be conducted in CBT mode at 101 centers in 73 cities across India. In the previous JIPMAT exam, a total of 12,207 registered, out of which 10,115 appeared in the JIPMAT entrance exam.

    The JIPMAT question paper will consist a total of 100 questions across three sections: Quantitative Aptitude; Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The duration of the JIPMAT exam 2026 will be 2.5 hours (3 pm to 5:30 pm). According to the JIPMAT 2026 exam pattern, the question paper had a total of 400 marks.

    As per last year's analysis, the category-wise JIPMAT 2026 cutoff for candidates belonging to the general category is expected to be around 350+ (JIPMAT raw score) for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. For reserved category candidates, the cutoff is to be around 220+.

    About JIPMAT Exam 2026

    Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is a national-level entrance examination for admission to the 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management offered at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya with the dual degree of BBA + MBA. Candidates who want to take admission to IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu are required to appear in the JIPMAT exam.

    As per JIPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria, students who completed the Class 12/HSC examination in the arts/ commerce/ science stream or equivalent with 60% (For SC/ ST/ PwD - 55%) of the marks are eligible to apply for JIPMAT 2026. There is no age restriction to apply for the JIPMAT exam 2026. Candidates have to pay Rs 2,000 (for UR/ OBC-(NCL), EWS) and Rs 1,000 (for SC/ ST/ PwD/) to complete the JIPMAT exam application form.

    Those candidates who wish to apply for the JIPMAT exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria. The JIPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria are given below:

    • Candidates should have passed the Class 12/XII/HSC examination in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream or its equivalent with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD). The students must have passed the class 10 examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD) or more in the year, not before 2021.
    • As per the JIPMAT exam 2026 eligibility criteria, students who appear in Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible to apply for JIPMAT 2026.
    • There is no age limit for appearing for the JIPMAT exam 2026.

    The percentage of marks obtained by the students in Class 10 and Class 12 standards would be calculated based on the board's regulations. If there is no such restriction regarding the total marks from the relevant board, the total marks of all the subjects appearing in the grade sheet should be taken into account to calculate the pass percentage.

    • Plus two level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized State/ Central Board, such as State Boards of Secondary Education or Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.
    • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized University/ Board.
    • Senior Secondary School Examination (SSSE) conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as the State Board of Open Schooling (SBOS) with a minimum of 5 subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
    Background wave

    NTA will release the JIPMAT 2026 application form in online mode probably in the second week of February 2026. Interested and eligible candidates fill out the JIPMAT exam form by visiting the official website. The application form window for JIPMAT exam 2026 will tentatively be closed in the third week of March 2026.

    Things to be ready before filling the JIPMAT 2026 registration

    It is suggested that the students keep the following ready before filling out the online JIPMAT 2026 application form:

    How to fill out the JIPMAT 2026 Application Form?

    • Step 1: Register for JIPMAT Online Registration using your own email ID and mobile number, and note down the system-generated application number.
    • Step 2: Complete the online application form for JIPMAT 2026 and note down the system-generated application Number. 
    • Step 3: Upload legible, scanned images of:

    The Ministry of Education has mandated the NTA to set up, create, and establish a network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) for students, especially in rural and remote areas, to enable them to practice and be comfortable taking the JIPMAT 2026 Computer Based Test (CBT).

    • This facility is completely free of charge. 
    • Candidates can register online (on the NTA website), where they are provided a convenient TPC near to their location to practice on a given computer node. 
    • This facilitates and eases the process of being able to take a Computer Based Test (CBT). 
    • The entire experience of using a computer is close to the actual experience of taking a CBT.
    • All efforts are made to provide JIPMAT practice tests and questions so that students can familiarize themselves with logging into the system, go through the detailed instructions regarding the JIPMAT 2026, use the mouse or numeric keyboard on-screen (virtual) for attempting each question, scroll down to the next question, navigate between questions, review and edit their options, and submit questions.

    NOTE: The objective of TPCs is primarily to organize test practice for the upcoming NTA JIPMAT examinations.

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JIPMAT exam admit, on its official website. Candidates can download the JIPMAT 2026 admit card by entering the JIPMAT application number, password, and date of birth. Before the admit card release, the authority will issue the exam city allotment slips, that can be accessed via applicant login on exams.nta.ac.in/JIPMAT. 

    Candidates can download the JIPMAT exam admit card from the NTA website and appear for the examination at the specified centre on the date, time, and discipline as indicated on their hall ticket. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination at the JIPMAT exam center, except for the date and time allotted to him or her on his or her JIPMAT 2026 exam admit card.

    Evaluation Criteria for JIPMAT 2026 Answer Key

    • After the process of Challenges of the JIPMAT Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or changes in the key, only those students who have attempted it correctly as per the revised answer key(s) will be awarded marks.
    • In the event that a question is dropped due to a technical error, full marks will be given to the students who have attempted it.

    The sectional and overall scores of JIPMAT 2026 will be mentioned in the result/ scorecard. Additionally, the percentile obtained by candidates on the JIPMAT exam will also be mentioned.

    JIPMAT score vs percentile: One of the major questions asked by candidates is about the score vs percentile in JIPMAT 2026. IIM Bodh Gaya & IIM Jammu will release the computation of the JIPMAT scores and the normalization methodology adopted. The process is as follows:

    What after JIPMAT 2026 Result?

    Candidates who achieve the minimum JIPMAT cutoff score will receive email notifications from IIM Bodh Gaya or IIM Jammu inviting them to participate in additional examination rounds following the announcement of the JIPMAT 2026 results. Each IIM will send the interview call letter directly to the shortlisted applicants by registered e-mail or speed post.

    Generally, IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu follow a selection process that includes the following procedures:

    • Written Ability Test (WAT)
    • Group Discussion (GD)
    • Personal Interview (PI)

    The selection and admission to the institutions are subject to fulfilling the Admission Criteria, Eligibility, Rank in Merit List, Medical Fitness, Verification of original documents, and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the respective IIM (Bodh Gaya and Jammu).

    The final selection of the candidates for 5-year integrated MBA admissions at IIM Bodh Gaya or IIM Jammu will be done on the basis of various parameters such as JIPMAT 2026 score, academic history (Class 10 and Class 12), Gender Profile, and performance in WAT/GD-PI rounds. IIMs will prepare their own final merit list.

    Validity of JIPMAT Exam Result 

    The validity of the JIPMAT 2026 result of the exam shall be only for the current admission year, i.e., the 2026-2027 academic year and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admission.

    The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and Bodh Gaya will announce the JIPMAT 2026 cutoff for admission into five years integrated management programme after the declaration of JIPMAT exam result.     On the log-in screen of the portal, click the “Forgot Application Number” button and follow the procedure given there. Then you get your JIPMAT 2026 application number.
