The selection rounds are a set of procedures which candidates will be evaluated upon in order to finally seek admission in the desired programme.
Typically, the selection of all NMAT participating colleges involves a similar pattern, comprising of all or any of the following stages:
Group Discussion (GD)
Written Ability Test (WAT)
Personal Interview (PI)
In some institutes such as SDA Bocconi, there is some weightage given to the following parameters besides the ones listed above:
Academic Abilities - Candidates with a consistent academic background and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure have an advantage in the selection process.
Extra-Curricular & Soft skills - Extra-curricular activities such as management experience, leadership potential, entrepreneurial experience, communication skills, creativity, and involvement in community/social clubs are additional considerations.
The selection process of NMIMS Mumbai has a slightly different approach. Instead of GD, NMIMS conducts a Case Discussion(CD) round which is not very different from Group Discussion. Candidates will be given a case brief of around one page to analyze. They will be given five minutes for the same. Once the time is up, they will be asked to discuss the case topic for about 10-15 minutes giving their inputs and will be evaluated on the same. This round evaluates the candidate's’ public speaking skills similar to GD round. A personal interview (PI) round will follow thereafter.

Is ECE ( in IIT Kgp) a good branch, to compete with C.Sc branh of NIT s ? Analyse the job opurtunities and higher studies etc.
Hi, according to your question it seems something similar. If I talk about top NIT's like NIT Trichy, MNNIT Allahabad or VNIT Nagpur then the CSE branch of these institutes gives a tough competition to CSE branch students IIT's also. Now coming on the IIT, Kharagpur's EEE branch so let me tell you EEE highest placement package from EEE branch is approx 1 Croreand the average package is approx 5 Lakhs. So overall you just see IIT Kharagpur is an IIT afterall so it will always be better than any of the NIT's in any branch.
If someone accepts NIT s any branch ,is it possible for him to sit in csab counseling
you can definitely sit for CSAB counselling even after you have accepted a seat in NITs. According to the guidelines for CSAB counselling , if you have seat in any of the NITs , while participating in CSAB counselling the seat which you have been allotted will remain safe and if you do get a seat from this round your previous allotted seat will be forfeited.

if one is a pwd student and is allowed to arrange for ones own scribe, what is the eligibility criteria for the scribe ?
As you haven't mentioned that about which entrance exam you are asking about so I'm not sure about my information.
As there are some entrance examinations in which scribes are not allowed such jee mains, jee advanced and neet.
But if the entrance exam is other than these, then there are some rules which needs to be followed. To check those rules you can refer to the link mentioned below-
Hope it helps.
