    • IIM Ahmedabad: The top MBA institution, IIM Ahmedabad, admitted 455 students, of which 453 were graduates and 444 students were placed, while the other 9 students opted for higher studies. This makes the IIM Ahmedabad placement rate 100% and the median salary around Rs. 33,00,000.

    • IIM Calcutta: 542 students were admitted to IIM Calcutta, whereas 521 students graduated and 516 were placed after the placement drive. 5 students went for higher studies, making the 100% placement rate for IIM Calcutta. Moreover, the median package for IIM Calcutta is around Rs. 35,00,000, the highest among BLACKI IIMs.

    • IIM Kozhikode: IIM Kozhikode student intake was around 591 students, and 585 students graduated and were placed, with no student opting for higher studies. The IIM Kozhikode placement rate is 100%, and its median package is around Rs. 27,50,000.

    • IIM Bodh Gaya: IIM Bodh Gaya has recorded a total student intake and admission of around 446, while the graduates were 438, of which placed students came down to 434, as 4 students opted for higher education. This made the IIM Bodh Gaya placement rate 100% and the median salary around Rs. 12,10,000.

    • IIM Amritsar: Like IIM Bodh Gaya, the student intake and admitted was same for IIM Amritsar, that is, 320 students. However, 318 students graduated, and eventually 310 were placed after deducting 08 students opting for higher studies. The total placement rate came down to 100%, and IIM Amritsar median CTC stood at Rs. 12,29,000.

    • IIM Sirmaur: As per data submitted by IIM Sirmaur, the total student intake was around 320, of which 312 students were admitted. Whereas, 295 students graduated and 293 were placed, as 2 students went for higher education. The IIM Sirmaur placement rate is 100%, while the median salary is around Rs. 14,20,000 after completing the MBA program.

    • IIM Visakhapatnam: According to data submitted by IIM Visakhapatnam, the total number of students intake, admission, and graduates was around 375 students. While 365 students were placed, out of which 1 opted for higher studies. The IIM Visakhapatnam placement rate is 98%, whereas the median package is around Rs. 15,00,000.

    • IIM Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur's total student intake was around 319, whereas 314 students were admitted and graduated by the institution. Out of 314 students, 312 students were placed, while 02 opted for higher studies. Following this, the IIM Sambalpur placement rate is 100%, and the IIM Sambalpur median CTC is around Rs. 15,02,692.

    The new IIMs are the IIMs that have come up in the recent past in multiple cities and locations across the country. Interested candidates can check the placement data related to new IIMs in the following points.

    • IIM Kashipur: The total student intake was around 480 students, while 469 students were admitted and 467 graduated after completion of the MBA program. Out of the graduated students, 465 were placed, while 02 students went for higher studies. This makes the placement rate of IIM Kashipur 98%, and the median package is Rs. 14,46,000.

    • IIM Udaipur: IIM Udaipur admitted 361 students in 2023-24, of which 328 students graduated. In addition to this, 325 students were placed, making the placement rate of 99% for IIM Udaipur. Moreover, the IIM Udaipur median package is Rs. 17,09,802 in 2024-25.

    • IIM Ranchi: IIM Ranchi delivered 100% placement, as all 333 graduating students were placed after completion of the MBA program. Moreover, the student intake was 380, while 334 students were admitted for the program. In addition to this, IIM Ranchi's median package is Rs. 17,91,000.

    • IIM Trichy: 414 students were admitted to IIM Trichy, of which 397 students graduated, and eventually 383 students were placed. The institution recorded a 96% placement rate, while the IIM Trichy median package is around Rs. 18,00,000.

    • IIM Raipur: The total students admitted to IIM Raipur were around 388, while 341 students graduated and 328 were placed through the IIM Raipur placement drive. Moreover, the placement rate is around 96%, whereas the IIM Raipur median package is Rs. 18,40,000.

    • IIM Shillong: IIM Shillong has been consistent, as the median salary has remained in the range of Rs. 25,00,000 to Rs. 26,00,000.
