Karnataka PGCET MBA Counselling 2019 - Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the second round admission process of Karnataka PGCET 2019 on September 21. The authorities had announced the second round allotment result for counselling of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019. The officials had extended the second round of choice entry to September 20 up to 11:00 AM for counselling of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019. The conducting body had begun the option entry for the second round and released the second round seat matrix list of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 counselling. Previously, the conducting body had extended the first round of choice entry to September 13 and the last date to report to the college is September 13. The first round of allotment result had been released on September 8 for counselling of Karnataka PGCET 2019 MBA counselling. The authorities had also issued instructions with regard to the first round of seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling. The authorities had released the seat matrix for the year 2019-20 for MBA programme. The Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling process 2019 commenced after the declaration Karnataka PGCET MBA result which was announced on August 22, 2019 (after 4:00 p.m). It started with the document verification process which began from August 23. Latest: KEA has released the second-round cutoff of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019.

Candidates, who will successfully complete the document verification process will be allowed to fill the option entry form The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) which will be conducted by KEA. Various participating institutes/B-schools will release their respective seat matrices. Candidates who had not verified their document till August 31, they could do so at any KEA helpline centres on September 3 and September 4 between 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. The authorities had released the complete schedule of counselling of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 which began from August 26 for selecting candidates to MBA programme offered in Government and Private B-schools spread across the state of Karnataka.
Test takers who appeared in Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 were shortlisted on the basis of their marks/ scores obtained in the exam. After the result of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 examination, the shortlisted candidates were informed for participating in the selection rounds like the counselling and seat allotment sessions. Furthermore, there may be an instance in the Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2019 where test-takers might score equal marks. In such cases, KEA will consider the candidate with higher aggregate scores (qualifying examination). The other alternative way to select a candidate over the other is the consideration of their ages. The candidate of higher age will be preferred over the younger aspirant.

The official KEA website should be referred to for viewing the designated official Helpline Centres. Candidates need to be personally present in the Helpline Centre as per the schedule for document verification. Verification of documents will not be done after the scheduled date. Also, candidates will not receive any individual intimation via e-mail or post regarding the document verification schedule.
How to surrender a seat?If candidates wish to surrender their seats, they will have to surrender seats only to KEA, the administering authority. Merely not reporting to the selected college should not be presumed by the candidate that he/she has surrendered the seat to KEA. Candidates who select a seat in the first round but wish to surrender/cancel the selected seat should surrender the seat on or before the last date fixed for entry of options in the second and final rounds.
Candidates should read the ‘PGCET-2019 e-brochure’ which will comprise details of eligibility parameters, documents’ list to be submitted, entry of priority of options, making the right choices, surrender process of selected seats, refund and forfeiture conditions, reporting to allotted college, etc.

All eligible candidates should get along all listed original documents (along with one set of attested photocopies) when they attend the document verification session on the scheduled date.
If candidates fail to produce any of the original documents/ certificates/mark sheets on verification date, will lead to candidature cancellation. Such candidates’ documents will not be verified any further; their registration process would remain incomplete and subsequently, they won’t be eligible to exercise their entry options.
Candidates who will secure multiple ranks, can come to the Helpline Centre on the scheduled date according to their highest rank across disciplines. They will not need to take part using other ranks in other different disciplines.
General Merit, Reserved and Special category candidates can attend document verification in any of the helpline centres as per the notified schedule, but Non-Karnataka candidates, GATE qualified candidates; sponsored quota candidates, part-time quota candidates should attend the document verification in Bangalore centre alone as per their secured ranks.
The document verification for the candidates pertaining to categories like Differently Abled (PwD) and Ex-Defence (only for MBA and MCA) will be conducted at Karnataka Examinations Authority, 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleswaram, Bangalore.
Registration of applicants at the listed counselling centres of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019- Registration of candidates, after which they are assigned respective User ID and Password for future correspondence
Verification of the documents - Documents submitted by candidates will be verified for getting shortlisted the for the further selection procedure
Verification Schedule - The schedule will be verified and the entry options of candidates will be thoroughly checked
Option Entry - This is the process in which the candidates state their choices of college/s and course/s. One needs to complete the document verification process before going ahead with the selection of college/s and course/s (option entry). Candidates need to type the secret keyword given in the verification slip to begin the procedure
Selection of Seats - Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 seat allotment process will start after the process candidates are offered choices which they need to make for seat selection
Reporting to the Allotted Institute - Admission to institutes after which candidates have to report to the concerned institute and make the payment of admission fee at the designated fee counter.
Round One - Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 Counselling: In this first round, candidates belonging to Karnataka and Non- Karnataka General and reserved category who are shortlisted from the merit list will be called/invited for Counselling.
Casual Counselling - Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 Counselling: In this second round, the vacant seats/available seats will be merged with government seats general category and allotted to candidates who qualify the same. Candidates must carry required documents at the time of Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2019.

The cutoff rank for the preferred college and course may be seen so that the candidate gets an idea about where he/she stands to pertain to his/her rank
The priority of options among the colleges selected should be noted down
A mock allotment on real-time data given by the candidates will also be executed before the actual commencement of the First Round so that the candidates can know the college and course allotted as per their preference/options. Candidates are allowed to change/edit their options after seeing the mock allotment as well. This will help in finding out candidates’ standing as per their merit and options
A verification slip will be issued to the candidates indicating the category which they belong, rank number for each discipline if eligible, special category if applicable. It will help in choosing the college or course or place of the college as well.
It is advisable to write the order of options on a white paper before actually entering in the system.

Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019 seat allotment will be provided to each candidate for private and government institutes according to the reservation criteria. The General category seats under management quota are allotted to both Karnataka and non- Karnataka candidates.According to the Karnataka PGCET MBA exam pattern 2019, the exam was conducted for a total of 100 marks and the total duration of the test was 120 minutes/two hours. The mode of PGCET MBA 2019 exam was offline (paper-pencil test); consisted of four (4) sections and each section carried 25 questions and 25 marks respectively. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark and there will be no negative marking scheme as per the marking scheme of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2019.
