Karnataka PGCET MBA publication of first-round real seat allotment result (Provisional) has been announced today i.e. October 3, 2025. Earlier, Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 mock allotment result has been announced in an online mode on the official website on September 29, 2025. Previously, KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET MBA seat matrix. Karnataka PGCET counselling option entry took place from September 24 to 28, 2025. Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling process commenced on the official website- keaonline.karnataka.gov.in. To become eligible for the Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling, students had to appear for the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 examination, which was held on June 22, 2025.

Candidates selected in any of the rounds after the publication of Karnataka PGCET MBA results can report to the allotted colleges on or before the last date. The authority will release the seat matrix of the multiple rounds of Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2025 on its official website.
KEA conducts the Karnataka PGCET 2025 counselling for candidates who passed the Karnataka PGCET exam. The Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling process is conducted online, but candidates must make sure that they carry the required documents while reporting to the allotted college. The counselling for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 will be conducted in the following stages:
Result Declaration and Cutoff: The authorities release the Karnataka PGCET MBA results of the candidates who appeared in the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 exam. The result will be released in the form of merit list. Candidates who get a rank in the merit list need to attend document verification on or before the last date. Only those who attend the document verification will be called for counselling.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the Karnataka PGCET and get a rank need to visit any of the Karnataka helpline centres to get their documents verified as per their rank.
Display of Seat Matrix: The Authority release the participating institute's list and seat allotment list for MBA and other programmes.
Invitation to Counselling: Candidates who qualify for the Karnataka PGCET MBA cutoff criteria are called for the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 counselling. Candidates who are invited to the Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2025 have to register for the KEA counselling process.
Counselling Day: Candidates must reach the particular counselling centre allotted to them. Aspirants must bring all the necessary documents required for counselling for the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025. A list of all the necessary documents is listed in the further sections of this article.
Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2025 will be conducted through the following steps:
Document Verification: Qualified candidates will be assigned different ranks. Candidates who registered for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2025 counselling will be required to report at the allotted counselling centre as per the schedule. Candidates must carry the documents and get them verified at the helpline centre to proceed to the next step of the option entry process. Aspirants must confirm the schedule before coming to the helpline centres. Once the documents are verified, candidates will get the original documents, and an acknowledgement card and slip will be issued. Students must carry the following documents:
After the verification of the documents, candidates will be assigned the secret key. The secret key has to be entered at the online entry option portal.
Registration: To appear for the Karnataka PGCET MBA counselling 2025, candidates must register for the counselling process on the official website soon after the declaration of the result. Candidates will be required to report to the counselling centre / register their counselling number.
Option Entry: After entering the PGCET number on the online portal, candidates have to choose the college/course as per their preference from the seats available. Candidates will have the option to choose according to college, course, seat, and discipline wise. There is no limit to entering the options. Candidates must set their options in order of their preference in which they desire to take admission. Candidates are advised to choose a maximum number of options available.
Seat Allotment: As per the choices filled by the candidates, colleges will be allotted to the candidates. As per the rank of the candidates and the choices entered, seats will be offered. The candidate’s allotment process will not proceed until the candidates have completely searched for the availability of the seats. Candidates will have an option to change their choices until the last date of the option entry.
Once the last day of option entry ends, the choices entered by the candidates will be frozen.

1. Verification Slip: Students must carry the verification slip to the help centre and check for the details mentioned on the slip. In case of any error, it should be brought to the notice of the Chief Nodal Officer of the respective helpline centre.
2. Unique Keyword: It is the eight alphanumeric characters printed on the verification slip which are used to access the option entry on the official website. This code must be kept confidential.

If you have made a mistake while entering your education details in KEA PGCET MBA option entry, you cannot edit it directly once it is submitted. You need to contact KEA immediately.

They will guide you on how to correct the mistake. Do it quickly, as corrections are allowed only within the given time.

Your PGCET Rank is 5882 and depending on the branch you are looking for at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (Belagavi) there is a possibility of getting admission. For the branches like CSE, ECE and AIML in high demand branches overall, the cut off is usually lower. Instead for branches like Mechanical, Civil and some of the newer branches, you will likely get admission either in the last rounds or might have a chance in spot counseling. KLS Gogte college
Hey Ritika! With 5882 rank, getting into KLS Gogte is a bit tough because last year the cutoff was around 5900 for some branches. You are right on the edge, so chances are less but not impossible.
My suggestion: attend all rounds of counselling, because sometimes seats open up in later rounds. Also, keep other branches as backup options, that will increase your chances of admission.
