Karnataka PGCET MBAKarnataka PGCET MBA 2018 - Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the state-based entrance examination, Karnataka PGCET MBA for the purpose of determining the eligibility of candidates to get admissions to full-time MBA programme in Government and Private institutes in Karnataka. Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 exam allows business schools to screen candidates to MBA programme across Karnataka. PGCET MBA is conducted once in a year for test takers who aspire to study MBA anywhere in the state. Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, July 15, 2018, between 2:30 PM- 4:30 PM. The admit card/hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 is expected to be released in the last week of June, 2018. Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 will be administered in a paper-pencil format, which has to be completed in two hours duration. The state-based MBA entrance exam comprises multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) for 100 marks. Karnataka PGCET MBA Hall Ticket 2018

 

The hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 will be available for candidates who will have successfully registered for the state level entrance exam. The hall ticket will be available around the last week of June, 2018 and the registered candidates will be able to download the admit cards or hall tickets of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 by entering the respective application number and Date of Birth (DOB).

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam Pattern 2018

 

The exam pattern of Karnataka MBA PGCET 2018 comprises of MCQs to be completed in the two hours’ duration. The question paper of the entrance exam will have four different versions. And each question will come with four options to choose from. The right response will be awarded one mark. The exam comprises of four sections and each section is worth 25 marks, making the entire Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 of 100 marks.

What is the marking scheme of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018?

The marking scheme of PGCET MBA 2018 is pretty simple and straight. Each correct response will be awarded 1 mark. The best part of the entrance exam is that there is no negative marking scheme for incorrect answers.

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Answer Key 2018

 

The provisional answer key of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 will be available in the second week of July. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) releases the answer key of the MBA entrance exam and after viewing the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 answer key- candidates/ parents/ lecturers could file their objections on or before the third week of July. However, before doing that they have to justify their objection to relevant evidence and documents. Objections without any justification will not be entertained by the officials.

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Result 2018

 

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), the conducting body, will declare the result of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 around the third week of August. The Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 result will be made available in the form of ranks. Once the results are declared by the official authorities, a merit list will be prepared based on which selected candidates will be called for the next round of counselling/ seat allotment. The Mock Allotment Result will be declared in September, 2018 tentatively.

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Cutoff 2018

Karnataka PGCET MBA Merit List 2018

 

KEA the conducting body of PGCET MBA 2018 will release a merit list along with the result. The Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 merit list is prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the exam. The marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance exam is considered only for eligibility. Therefore, candidates are advised to attend the PGCET MBA counselling only when they have met the score requirement/cutoff score.

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Counselling/Seat Allotment 2018

 

After the declaration of the first round seat allotment result of the PGCET MBA 2018, candidates can check the seat allotment result by entering their PGCET number. The counselling for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 will be held in the last week of August, 2018. Based on the performance of candidates in the Karnataka PGECT MBA 2018, the merit list will be prepared and published. Candidates who meet the required qualifying marks/scores will be allowed to participate in the counselling round. The counselling session will continue until September, 2018. The conducting authority will be releasing the seat matrix to MBA programme at various institutes.

 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) decides the eligibility criteria of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018. The criteria are as mentioned below:

  • A bachelor’s degree of minimum three years from a recognised university

  • Candidate must obtain a minimum of 50 percent across subjects

  • For SC/ST & Category-I, a five percent relaxation is granted; i.e. the minimum score of 45 percent marks across subjects must be secured by the candidates belonging to this category.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Application Form 2018

 

Firstly, all aspiring test takers should ensure their eligibility to appear for the test. The online application form for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 was made available from May 19, 2018 (8 PM) and the last date of the application had been extended till Sunday, June 10, 2018 (8 PM). The last date to pay the application fee was similar to the last date of submitting the application form of Karnataka PGCET MBA. While filling the application form of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018, the following information should be provided by the candidate:

Once the online application form was duly filled, candidates had to retain a few documents with them as a reference for future. Documents such as printouts of the filled-in application form, evidence of fee payment and copies of photo ID should have been uploaded during the course of the online application procedure.

 

Application Fee - Candidates from General and OBC category, the application fee was Rs. 650, while for SC/ST and Category-I, the application fee was Rs. 500.
