Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the state-based entrance examination, Karnataka PGCET MBA for the purpose of determining the eligibility of candidates to get admissions to full-time MBA programme in Government and Private institutes in Karnataka. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the provisional answer key of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 on July 19. Candidates can file objections with proper justification through e-mail: [email protected] (mail should be titled as PGCET-2018 - Objection - Subject Name, Version with attachment) on or before 22-07-2018 before 5.30 pm. While submitting the objections the subject, version code, question number and part 1 or 2 must be clearly mentioned. Candidates should remember that no objection without justification will be entertained by the officials.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), the conducting body, will declare the result of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 around the third week of August. The Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 result will be made available in the form of ranks. Once the results are declared by the official authorities, a merit list will be prepared based on which selected candidates will be called for the next round of counselling/ seat allotment. The Mock Allotment Result will be declared in September, 2018 tentatively.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Merit List 2018
KEA the conducting body of PGCET MBA 2018 will release a merit list along with the result. The Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 merit list is prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the exam. The marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance exam is considered only for eligibility. Therefore, candidates are advised to attend the PGCET MBA counselling only when they have met the score requirement/cutoff score.
After the declaration of the first round seat allotment result of the PGCET MBA 2018, candidates can check the seat allotment result by entering their PGCET number. The counselling for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 will be held in the last week of August, 2018. Based on the performance of candidates in the Karnataka PGECT MBA 2018, the merit list will be prepared and published. Candidates who meet the required qualifying marks/scores will be allowed to participate in the counselling round. The counselling session will continue until September, 2018. The conducting authority will be releasing the seat matrix to MBA programme at various institutes.
The hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 is available for candidates who have successfully registered for the state level entrance exam. The hall ticket is made available from July 5, 2018, and the download link will be active upto July 12, 2018. Only the registered candidates will be able to download the admit cards or hall tickets of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 by entering the respective application number and Date of Birth (DOB).
The exam pattern of Karnataka MBA PGCET 2018 comprises of MCQs to be completed in the two hours’ duration. The question paper of the entrance exam will have four different versions. And each question will come with four options to choose from. The right response will be awarded one mark. The exam comprises of four sections and each section is worth 25 marks, making the entire Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 of 100 marks.

What is the marking scheme of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018?
The marking scheme of PGCET MBA 2018 is pretty simple and straight. Each correct response will be awarded 1 mark. The best part of the entrance exam is that there is no negative marking scheme for incorrect answers.
KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) decides the eligibility criteria of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018. The criteria are as mentioned below:
A bachelor’s degree of minimum three years from a recognised university
Candidate must obtain a minimum of 50 per cent across subjects
For SC/ST & Category-I, a five per cent relaxation is granted; i.e. the minimum score of 45 per cent marks across subjects must be secured by the candidates belonging to this category.
Firstly, all aspiring test takers should ensure their eligibility to appear for the test. The online application form for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2018 was made available from May 19, 2018 (8 PM) and the last date of the application had been extended till Sunday, June 10, 2018 (8 PM). The last date to pay the application fee was similar to the last date of submitting the application form of Karnataka PGCET MBA. Once the online application form was duly filled, candidates had to retain a few documents with them as a reference for future.
