KMAT Eligibility CriteriaKMAT Eligibility Criteria 2017: The eligibility criteria of KMAT 2017 is laid down by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). Applications for KMAT had commenced from May 23, 2017, for aspirants who are interested in pursuing management programme in Karnataka. The last date of application was July 21, 2017. Before applying for the KMAT, candidates must check whether they are eligible to take the entrance exam. According to the KMAT 2017 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university in Karnataka. Being able to understand the eligibility criteria is a matter of concern for each candidate before applying for KMAT 2017. As any aspirant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria set by KPPGCA will not be allowed to sit for the management entrance exam.

KMAT eligibility criteria 2017 will help candidates understand and figure out all the requirements for taking the entrance exam. KMAT 2017 was held on July 30, 2017, as per the official dates released by the conducting body. Therefore, interested candidates who were seeking admission to management courses in Karnataka could apply for the exam. However, before doing so, a candidate must carefully go through the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2017 to avoid any hassle later.

 

Candidates can check the KMAT 2017 eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration, or

  • Master’s degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent

  • Students must have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidate).

  • Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

Candidates who want to appear for the entrance exam must fill the KMAT application form 2017 online. Test takers could complete the form both online and offline. To complete the KMAT registration, candidates had to make a payment of Rs. 800 in form of Demand draft in favor of ‘KMAT 2017’. Or else, test takers could also make the payment online.
