KMAT Application form 2019 - KPPGCA released the application form of KMAT 2019 phase 2 on August 10, 2019 in online mode. KMAT was conducted in offline mode by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) on October 20, 2019. Before filling the application form of KMAT 2019 phase 2, candidates first checked the KMAT eligibility criteria. By appearing for KMAT, candidates stand a chance to secure admission in MBA programme in one of the 10,000 seats which are available across the 170 B-schools of Karnataka affiliated to KPPGCA. According to the KMAT eligibility criteria 2019, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks. Aspirants of KMAT 2019 must carefully go through the KMAT 2019 application form instructions to register for the state-level entrance exam.

Documents required for KMAT application form 2019

Before filling the application form of KMAT 2019 phase 2, applicants must keep the following documents ready:

  • Scanned copy of photograph

  • Scanned copy of Signature

  • Scanned copy of applicant’s parent’s signature

  • Mark sheet(s) or certificate(s) of graduation/Bachelor’s degree.

  • Valid email ID and mobile number

How to fill KMAT Application Form 2019

The application form of KMAT 2019 phase 2 can be filled in online mode. Below are the instructions to guide candidates through the KMAT application process:

How to fill KMAT 2019 Application form - Online Mode

  • Visit the official website - kmatindia.com. Application form can also be filled and submitted through the link on this page when it is released by KPPGCA.

  • Click on the ‘Apply now’ tab on the homepage.

  • Candidates will be redirected to an instructions page where they can either Register or Login.

  • Those candidates who have registered earlier have to fill their application number and date of birth in order to login.

  • First-time applicants need fill the required details and pay the exam fee of Rs. 800 through debit/credit card/ Netbanking and other modes of online payment mentioned.


Details to be Filled in KMAT Application Form 2019

  • Candidate’s Name: Complete name as mentioned in the High School and graduation certificates must be filled.

  • Date of Birth (DOB): Must be mentioned in the format of DD/MM/YYYY.

  • Nativity by Domicile/Birth: Tick on the appropriate box, which specifies whether you are Karnataka or Non-Karnataka state student.

  • Gender: Male or Female

  • Category Details: Mention the category you belong to (General/SC/ST etc.)

  • Applying for: Tick beside the name of the course you are applying to, i.e. MBA.

  • Institution last studied: mention the Name of the Institute you have studied along with Year of Passing.

  • Stream: Tick stream which you have studied.

  • Postal address: Mention the complete postal address for further communication.

  • Test Centre: Students must select the nearest Exam Centre.

  • DD Details: mention all the relevant Demand Draft details under this section.

KMAT 2019 Application Form Guidelines

  • Photo and signature: Scanned passport size photograph must be of the prescribed format. Maximum size of photograph is 500 KB and of signature is 500 KB before starting the application process.

  • A unique ID will be generated after successfully submitting and making the payments for KMAT registration on their registered mail ID.

  • Only registered test-takers will be able to download the KMAT admit card 2019 and appear for the entrance exam.


How to Fill KMAT Application Form 2019

Candidates can check the steps that need to be followed while filling the form:

Step 1- KMAT Registration

  1. New candidates will have to go to the KMAT official website and then click on Registration (New Candidate) tab.Image-1-Official link and new registration login

2. Candidates have to fill all the details to create Login. They will have to choose courses either MBA or MCA while filling the application form of KMAT 2019, after which they will have to fill the details such as

  • First name

  • Last name

  • DOB

  • Age as on 31-05-2019

  • Gender

  • Nativity by Birth/Domicile

  • Email Address

  • 10-digit mobile number

Note: After filling the details tick on the “I accept the terms & conditions and Rule & Regulations” and enter the “ Submit and Continue”.

Note: Click on “Continue to login." A new window will open and candidates will have to login by using their application number and DOB.

Step 2: Personal & Educational Details

After Login, KMAT 2019 application form will be displayed on the screen and now candidates will have to fill all details such as personal information, address for correspondence, permanent address., academic details, selection of test centre etc.

  • institution year of passing

  • please select your preferred test centre city

  • address line 1

  • State/UT

  • City/District

  • Pincode.

After filling the information in KMAT application form 2019, check the box outside which is written “ I accept the terms & conditions or rule or regulations.” and click “Save and Continue”.

Note: Please check if the permanent address is the same as a correspondence address

Candidates must note the important dates of KMAT 2019 to keep track of all the processes. The admit card for phase 2 will be available for download from October 18, 2019.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

In this part of the application form of KMAT 2019, candidates will have to upload the image of signature and photograph as per the specifications mentioned.

  • The photograph must be a recent passport size picture. Make sure that it is coloured against light or white background.

  • If there is a red-eye effect, please edit to remove it

  • If you wear glasses, then make sure that they are not sunglasses. Check to make sure that the photograph has no reflection. Your eyes and face should be clearly visible

  • Wearing of caps, hats or any dark glasses are not allowed. The religious headgear is allowed but it must not cover the face

  • Image size should be equal to or less than 100-200 KB with 200 dpi. Image dimension should be 3.5 cms (width) * 4.5 cms (height)

  • Candidate has to sign on white paper and scan it.

  • Candidate signature should be equal or less than to 100-200 KB with 200 dpi. Signature dimension should be 6 cms (width)* 3 cms (height)

  • Candidate signature would appear on the KMAT admit card 2019

Step 4: Preview Details In KMAT Application Form 2019

After uploading the photograph and signature, preview all details before paying the fees for the application form of KMAT 2019. If all details are correct then press “Continue” tab or if any details or information is incorrect then edit the information by pressing the tab “Edit Application” and once you have made the changes, then “submit” the registration form.

Step 5: Payment

Candidates will now have to pay the fee for the KMAT 2019 application form. Fee can be paid through any one of the following modes:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit card
  • Net banking
  • Wallet
  • Cash Card.

Hello dear student,

I understand that you want to appear in this exam but dear student this is exam for students who have completed for appearing in the graduation. This exam is not for 12th pass or 12th appearing students. This is for the students who have done their graduation or in the last semester of the graduation. To be eligible for KMAT 2019, candidates must have completed graduation with minimum aggregate of 50%  it's a state level entrance test to admission in post graduation.

KMAT is  conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate College Association for admission into MBA and MCA program.


Eligibility Criteria are as follows-


MBA Program-


Candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum of 3 years duration or qualified  Master's degree from a recognised institute with minimum aggregate of 50%, however there's relaxation given to SC/ST candidates for 5%. Candidates from any stream are eligible to apply.



MCA Program-


Candidate must have studied Maths at 10+2 level or during Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% to be eligible for this program.



You can apply for KMAT in any of these program, once you're graduated with the required aggragate, by next year.

Hello Aspirant,

Candidates who have scored marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates who wish to participate in KMAT counselling must check the official schedule on the website.

Those selected for the counselling process will get a counselling letter.

Original as well as a photocopy of the letter must be brought by the candidate during the counselling.

The counselling of KMAT 2019 will be conducted after the announcement of the result. Please regularly check their official site for updates regarding the counselling dates. Only the candidates who have scored marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks are eligible to participate in the counselling process and those selected for the counselling process will get a counselling letter.
