NTA will announce the CMAT 2026 result probably in the second week of February 2026, the participating institutes of CMAT will announce their respective cutoff to shortlist candidates for further screening. Candidates must note that they need to apply separately to these CMAT colleges. The selection process for CMAT includes Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), or Written Ability Test (WAT). The final selection of candidates will be based on CMAT scores as well as performance in the GD/PI and WAT rounds.
It should be noted that the CMAT colleges accepting high scores will always be better than the ones accepting a slightly lower CMAT score. Sometimes, a few CMAT 85 percentile colleges may be a better choice than a CMAT college above 90 percentile. So when it comes to choosing an MBA college, do not make your decision based on the cutoff of a college only, even though you have a higher score.
