NMAT 2024 is an MBA entrance exam conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) annually. NMAT 2024 registration will start in August 2024 and be conducted over 70 days. To complete the NMAT registration, candidates must pay NMAT 2024 registration fees of Rs. 2800.

NMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
GMAC, the conducting body of NMAT 2024, will prescribe the eligibility criteria for NMAT by GMAC 2024.
The candidate must have completed a graduation degree with 50% marks under 10+2+3 or four years of education in any stream.
Final year students are also eligible to appear for NMAT 2024.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction to apply for the NMAT by GMAC exam 2024.
Working Experience: It is not mandatory. During the final selection process, preference will be given to candidates with two to three years of work experience.
NMAT 2024 Application Form
GMAC will open the NMAT 2024 application window tentatively in the first week of August 2024. Candidates can fill out the NMAT registration form at the official website, register.nmat.org. Check out below to know how to fill out the NMAT 2024 exam application. Interested candidates can fill out the application form earlier without waiting until the NMAT 2024 registration last date.
Create an account by visiting the NMAT 2024 official website, register.nmat.org and providing your name, email ID, mobile number, and the country where you want to take the NMAT by GMAC test.
Find and click on the ‘Create an Account’ button, which will lead to the generation of a verification email. Access the dashboard using the received verification link.
Next, click on the ‘Register Now’ button from the dashboard and proceed to fill in the required details.
Then, accept the declaration check box and click on the ‘I Agree’ button.
Finally, pay the NMAT 2024 application fee using the preferred mode of payment.
To take a retake of NMAT 2024, candidates must pay an exam fee of Rs. 2,800 once again.

NMAT 2024 Exam Pattern
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) will prescribe the NMAT exam pattern. According to the exam pattern, the paper will have three sections namely; Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, and Language Skills. Take a look at the NMAT 2024 exam pattern below.

The NMAT 2024 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode with MCQ-type questions. For each right answer, 3 marks will be given and there is no negative marking for wrong/ unanswered questions.

GMAC will issue the NMAT exam 2024 admit card in online mode. The NMAT by GMAC 2024 admit card will be sent to the registered candidates within 24 hours of the exam schedule. Candidates can schedule and download their NMAT admit card from the dashboard section.
First, go to the official website of NMAT by GMAC.
Then, find and click on "Already registered? Login here” link.
Next, enter your registered email ID and password.
From the dashboard, you can download the NMAT 2024 admit card.
Download and take a printout of the same to appear for the exam.

NMAT 2024 Result
GMAC will declare the NMAT exam result within 48 hours in the form of a scorecard after the conclusion of the NMAT exam. Candidates who appear in the NMAT 2024 can check their results on the dashboard.

GMAC states that the admission process for NMAT 2024 will be done in two steps: The first step in the NMAT selection process is to appear for the NMAT 2024. The NMAT 2024 selection process consists of two rounds of Group Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates who clear the NMAT exam 2024 and meet the required NMAT 2024 cutoff will receive NMIMS interview calls.

MAT and NMAT are both entrance exams conducted for admission into management program in India. While there maybe some overlap in terms of the general aptitude & reasoning sections, it's important to note that they are conducted by different bodies and have different focuses.
MAT covers sections like language comprehension, Mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, and India and Global environment.
NMAT on the other hand, focuses on language skills, Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning.
MAT is conducted in either paper based or computer based but, NMAT is only computer based.
MAT scores are accepted by wide range of management schools across India. While NMAT score are primarily used for admission into NMIMS, and some other institutions.
Given these differences, it's advisable to study separately for each exam.
