MICAT Selection Procedure 2018: The selection procedure of MICAT 2018 will be conducted by MICA after both MICAT I and MICAT II are conducted. Only those candidates who will qualify by clearing MICAT cutoff will be eligible for appearing in the MICAT 2018 selection procedure. Based on their performance, MICA will shortlist candidates for further rounds of MICAT selection procedure. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. MICA will announce the list of shortlisted candidates by the third week of February, 2018. If a candidate is able to clear the MICAT 2018 cutoff, then he/she will be shortlisted to appear for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds. The final merit list of MICAT 2018 will be generated based on candidates’ performance in MICAT 2018, selection rounds, past academic records and work experience.
MICAT 2018 Selection Procedure
MICAT selection procedure 2018 includes three steps. Candidates scoring the minimum MICAT 2018 cutoff will be eligible for the selection process. Candidates need to know the below-mentioned steps of MICAT 2018 selection procedure:
Candidates need to appear for MICAT 2018.
Psychometric test is a qualifier.
Candidates need to appear for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
There should be an unanimous recommendation by all the panel members of PI
Test takers must get at least 3.5 or more on a 5 point scale in GE
Aspirants should have at least 4 or more on a 5 point scale in PI
The final merit list will be prepared by the exam conducting authority – MICA on the basis of below-mentioned weightage.

The cut off for MICAT will be announced once the result of MICAT 2018 is declared. Candidates scoring less than the required cutoff will not be shortlisted for the further rounds.
MICAT 2018 is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by MICA, Ahmedabad for admissions to Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) programme offering 180 seats. The application process of MICAT 2018 is likely to start from the first week of October. The registration process for MICAT – II is expected to commence from the first week of January, 2018.
MICAT – I is likely to be conducted in the second week of December and MICAT – II in the second week of February, 2018.
