    GMAT India Exam is the MBA entrance exam conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council every year. GMAT exam score is accepted by Indian MBA colleges as well as abroad MBA universities.     Latest Update on GMAT India 2024

    The authority has updated the GMAT focus edition exam pattern and syllabus by making the total duration of the exam 2 hours and 15 minutes and added a new topic to the GMAT focus edition syllabus, Data Insights.

    • The new version of the GMAT exam was started this year by updating the exam pattern, syllabus and duration. 
    • The duration of the GMAT exam is only 2 hours and 15 minutes. 
    • The total number of questions asked in the GMAT exam is 64 instead of 80 as per the previous version. 
    • A new GMAT exam pattern called data insights was added in place of the integrated reasoning section. 
    • The score of the GMAT edition 10 (previous version) will be valid for 5 years from the date of result declaration.

    GMAT exam comprises mainly 3 sections, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights. The duration to answer all the 64 questions of the GMAT India exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes).     Candidates who meet the GMAT eligibility requirements can appear for the GMAT India exam. The GMAT focus edition is accepted by all top MBA universities in India.

    • The candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an approved university.

    • A minimum age of 18 years old is required to apply for the GMAT India exam and there is no upper age limit as GMAT focus edition eligibility criteria.

    • If the candidates are between 13 to 17 years of age, those students must submit the NOC from their parents to apply for the GMAT India exam.

    Step 2: Click on the GMAT Registration link to start filling out the GMAT India application form.

    Step 3: Select the option to register for the GMAT exam.

    Step 4: According to your preference, candidates can choose either the test centre or online mode.

    Step 5: Fill out the GMAT application form with the required personal and educational documents.

    Step 6: Pay the GMAT India exam fees and cross-check the application details before the final submission.

    Step 7:  Click on the submit button to upload all the entered details.

    Step 8: Once the GMAT India registration is completed, a confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.

    GMAT Application Fee

    The GMAT India exam registration will be complete only by paying the GMAT exam fee. The candidates who paid the GMAT exam fee will be allowed to take the exam at the test centre or at home in online mode. The applicants need to pay an extra amount to reschedule the test or cancel it.

    Graduate Management Admission Council has updated the GMAT exam pattern by adding a new section called Data Insights to analyse the interpretation skills of the candidates. The time duration of the GMAT focus edition is 2 hours 15 minutes. The sectional time limit to attend the GMAT India questions is around 45 minutes.       • Get familiar with the GMAT exam pattern and syllabus: It is very important to understand the GMAT syllabus and paper pattern. Based on the CAT exam pattern and syllabus, students can divide the topic of the GMAT exam into multiple sections to make it easy at the time of daily GMAT exam preparation.

      • Choose the best study resources: Candidates who wish to appear for the GMAT exam can choose the best books and online platforms to clear the exam.

      GMAT India hall ticket is the document that permits the registered candidates to attend the exam at the GMAT test centre. Candidates who completed the GMAT India registration can avail of the GMAT admit card from the official website. The GMAT admit card will be available in online mode. 

      The details mentioned on the GMAT India admit card are the name of the candidate, registration number, passport-size photograph, exam date, time and venue. Candidates can carry at least 2 copies of the GMAT India admit card while going for the test.

      Graduate Management Admission Council conduct the GMAT exam in an online mode. Candidates can appear for the GMAT exam from a test centre or by taking the exam at home. Candidates need to choose the date and time during GMAT India exam registration to attend the test. Candidates who book the slot can only take the GMAT exam.

      How to book a slot for the GMAT India Exam?

      Step 1: Log in to the GMAT India official website by using the credentials.

      Step 2: Choose the preferred date and test city to attend the exam.

      Step 3: The slot booking will be completed only after the GMAT India exam registration.

      Step 4: The confirmed slot booking details will be reflected in the GMAT exam admit card.

      The Graduate Management Admission Council will announce the results immediately after the completion of the test. Candidates can see the sectional-wise and overall GMAT India exam results. Based on their performance in the GMAT exam, candidates can apply for management course admission at any of the best GMAT-accepting institutes.
